"I ordered some full-rise briefs on 9-23-14 and was shipped the wrong item. I returned the item for an exchange, and after 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I phoned them. They had NO information and asked that I call them back later in the week. That same night, I received an Email stating that the item had been shipped, and to expect it on 10-21-14. I checked today and ti now says to expect the item on 10-22-14. The next time I purchase underwear for my husband, I'm going to Sears."

"The reviews don't lie - this place has horrendous customer service. I ordered a pair of pajamas that were supposed to ship the next week. A few days after the intended ship date, I checked up on them and found the order was delayed until August (AUGUST!) without letting me know. I chose a new color, which was in two days ago and the order still has not shipped. They did not even apologize for not informing me of the change, and made no effort to compensate for their mistake. DO NOT BUY!"

"I ordered something that was on backorder and they sent it when they said they would. Yes, their shipping is slow, but Amazon also has me spoiled rotten so I get impatient. I love how they have my mom's favorite perfumes in Cologne and not Toilette. I have also ordered a dress for her in the past and the quality was excellent. I will continue to order from them again as their no-sugar-added jams are the best (read: strawberry rhubarb)."

"I ordered a pack of 3 bottles of stadium mustard. The price was quite reasonable and the shipping was too. I got a order confirmation e-mail, and was led to believe that my order had shipped.

A week later, I get a letter from snailmail notifying me that my order had been canceled because it was out of stock.

Why did they list it as in-stock? Why didn't they just e-mail me to let me know it was canceled?

It's a good thing that I didn't need these items for a gift or something, that would be bad.

"i placed an order on dec 6, 2006...as of jan 8th, 2007, i still have not received my order.

so far i have had to send them email 3 times inquiring of my order. supposedly, they have reshipped.

in their reship notice, they did not ship the entire order...i had to email them again, only to find out the item ordered was out of stock...

i will never purchase from the vermont country store again...they do not ship on time...they do not respond to email on time and they do not notify customers when items are not in stock...

buyer beware...

"I placed an order with this store on 12/12/06 and was told on 12/20 that the order had been shipped by an expedited method to be received in time for Christmas. I called and carefully explained to them that if the order would not be here for Christmas it was of no use to me. They assured me it would be on time. Today I found out the items were not even shipped until 12/28. When I received the order I called again to have them pick it up and was told that it would be taken care of but they would have to call me back. I never heard from them. "
