"I have been an Amazon customer for years and plan to continue but; in the experience I had with the marketpace seller, The Price Pros, I am concerned. I have reviewed the comments left by other Amazon customers after I left mine, and I have read other rating sites in regards to The Price Pros and it is apparent that they have lots of complaints that reflect the same problems I incurred. They list items for sale and when ordered, they show the item shipped and charge the account. Then they check to see if they have the item in stock and if so, everything runs smoothly, but if they can not supply the item they simply wait for the arrival date to expire and then contact the Amazon customer and cancel the order and agree at that time to issue a refund for the Amazon's customers money that has been unavailable to the customer and will be for up to 10 additional days. Or, as in my case, they just send a simular item that is available to the customer in hopes the customer will keep, but if the customer does not accept it the customer will be responsible for, both physically and financially until The Price Pros mistake can be corrected and the incorrect item is returned and received by them. Under both circumstances their customer service representatives is blaming the problems on Amazon; ie: Amazon controlls the money so a refund can not be issued until The Price Pros receives their item, even though the item is not one I ordered; and I am told I will not be receiving the item I ordered because it is not available. In this I have been not only inconvenienced but I am also being held responcible to store and protect the item; spending my time meeting with the return shipper (between 7am & 7pm) for a large item I can not take to the shipper; and someone is using my money in the meantime. Amazon shows this company has a 18% dissatifaction rating over the past 3 months versus a lifetime 6%; apparently they are having issues. As an Amazon customer I feel Amazon should also be concerned for the Amazon customer regarding their Marketplace sellers business procedures; which reflect on Amazon and will, and have according to other rating websites, drive Amazon customers to other online sellers. I am just going to avoid the Marketplace seller on Amazon and use Sold by Amazon only; which hurts the good Marketplace partners but this experience shows me I am not being protected by the Amazon reputation that I expect when I shop at Amazon. I feel that Amazon should have much stricter rules regarding marketplace sellers to protect the Amazon customer and Amazon itself. Most Amazon buyers do not understand that they should know the Marketplace seller and avoid the ones with problems but there again this take research on our part and this is why we come to Amazon.com, a place we trust to keep us from having these problems in the first place.

"Ordered a scope for my rifle through Amazon.com to The Price Pros. What a disaster!

Within 2 day of placing my order I received a shipping notification. 12 days later when the shipping window expired I still did not have my scope. Called Amazon finally was able to get a phone number for The Price Pros ***-***-****. Don’t bother calling it they never answer. I called twice on hold for 30 minutes each time, left a message never got a call back. The next day after speaking to another Amazon service rep they were able to send The Price Pros an e-mail. Later that day I received the following from The Price Pros:

“Unfortunately, your order has been cancelled due to no stock but now we are able to find the product, please update us if you are willing to wait so we can reprocess your order.”

Lets think about this. I ordered the item which at the time was in stock, 2 days later I received a shipping notification, seems like it must have been in stock since they said it has shipped, but then 13 day later I receive an e-mail saying my order has been canceled, how does that work?

Since it was ordered through a 3rd party Amazon says there is really nothing they can do about it. What, really nothing you can do, and Amazon is still doing business with this company.

I’m notifying as many people online as I can and have stopped the payment through my credit card company.

"Bait and Switch type tactics and misleading product descriptions. Ordered a package of 100 Key Rings and instead got only 1. It was clearly written in at least 3 places in their amazon description that it was for a package of 100. Do not purchase from these individuals. Take a look at other reviews under their Amazon store. Seems to be some of the same complaints over and over again."

"Ordered the Picnic Time Harmony Single Bottle Wine Case for a wedding gift with Price Pros thru Amazon.com, received confirmation the item shipped 6/12/12 without any tracking information. 6/15/12 sent an email requesting tracking information, 4 additional emails (still following up to date 6/19/12) & 3 follow up phone calls later requesting tracking information all I have received were responses from Sarah Brian, Shannon Gray, Rayon Thompson & Benjamin Milstead "Unfortunately tracking information is not available for your order, we will get back to you in 24hrs with tracking information."

Not only am I unable to track my package to see whether or not the item has really shipped or is in fact lost and someone else has my wedding gift

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS VENDOR AS TODAY IS 6/19/12 and I still do not have tracking information nor my item, although PAID IN FULL!

"These guys are beyond incompetent, they are deceitful. We ordered a car stereo from them, which they said would fit in our specific make/model of car. However, it was simply too wide, and there was absolutely no way to make it fit. When we tried to return it, they would not let us, so we posted negative feedback. To get us to remove the feedback, they contacted us and made us a deal: we remove the feedback and they would send us a return label. We lived up to our end of the bargain, but they did not. Now they are avoiding our calls. AVOID THEM!

"I give them 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

I requested a return for a Christmas present more than a week ago. Several days went by, no response, so I left negative feedback. I quickly got a call and an e-mail promising to waive the return and shipping fees if I removed my feedback, and that I would be sent an e-mail with the return shipping label. Several more days have past, and I still don't have the return label, just e-mails with excuses for why they are too busy to send me an e-mail. I feel like I was scammed into removing my feedback, adding dishonesty to poor service and draconian policies.
