Worst customer Service Ever!

"I bought some motorcycle floorboards and when they arrived the right side floorboard had a spring that was defective. Then, when I contacted them about it they gave me a response that did not in any way try to resolve the issue. They continually asked for more and more information instead of trying to solve the issue that they had caused which they would not admit to. "

"We placed an order yesterday with The Parts Giant; at the time, Google Shopping was listing a large number of mostly positive reviews.

A few minutes later, we received a cancellation notice for our order, with no explanation.

Their phone system has no voicemail, they do not answer the phone, and they have not answered email. The charge for our order is still in pre-auth and has not yet been canceled.

Today, most of the positive reviews are gone from the Google results.

These guys are a scam. Look at the reviews here on ResellerRatings -- the only ones that are positive are ones that have never left a review for any other reseller. All of the negative reviews are from active users.

"Fast shipping but exorbitant shipping cost. Ordered some memory DIMMs. Unfortunately, I was misled by the Dell site as to which memory module I could use and it turned out the ones I bought wouldn't work. I have zero hope of getting any money back. Parts Giant's RMA policy is draconian to say the least (they have a miniumum $28 restocking charge and can charge up to 70% fee). But they don't answer emails or their phone. Not someone I'll ever do business with again. P.S. Subsequently found "Memory America". Spectacular service, good prices, cheap fast shipping."

"I purchased 5 hdd's from this supplier because they said they had them in stock. I tried to call them a week later to ask where they were. I talked to someone on the phone that told me the shipping department would send me an e-mail with the shipping information within an hour. 3 hours later I called again because I never received the e-mail. The customer service guy hung up on me. I tried to call back two more times and wasn't able to get in touch with anyone. I then tried their online chat feature. As soon as I told the guy my order number I never heard received any chat back. I just hope these drives show up at my colo facility... otherwise I'll have to write another review about how they ripped me off."

"Really strange company here.

Called to verify company before purchasing 3 rather expensive IBM server hard drives.

According to their website, the drives were NEW BULK packaging. Thats fine. I placed an order for some hard drive trays from another supplier because they were BULK.

Placed the order and waited 48 hours for the usual tracking information.

Never received.

Emailed ****@**** several times for update to order. No answer.

Called their main line; of course, no one home this time.

I was getting antsy when the drives showed up.

Didn't even open up the drives until I got to the customer location. They were very well packed, with each hard drive individually bubble wrapped PLUS the box was lined in foam with foam in between each drive. Very well done! But, then again, for $31.15 for ground shipping (under 2lbs) it better be packed well. (FYI: their competitors are charging $10 to ship the same thing ground)

My approval was short lived, however, when I opened up the first drive I immediately noticed these drives were NOT NEW, but pulls from a used server.

How do I know this? The hard drive trays had obvious signs of wear. Ok, they could have used pulled trays, right? Nope, the datecode on each drive is 2006.

So much for new.

Now they won't answer their phone.

And they just lost a huge customer.

Don't even bother with this vendor. Fly by night.

"Rebuilding a crashed server, need to replace old drives with (3) new ones identical to original drives. Found them on the Parts Giant website, ordered them with our company American Express card, was sent a confirmation that order was in progress.
Later in same afternoon received an email indicating that the order was cancelled with no reason given for cancellation.
Tried calling and emailing the sales department the next morning to resolve the issue, no one would answer phones, no one would return emails.
This company has fallen off the cliff.
Spend your money elsewhere.

"I ordered a hard drive on Monday. I received no order confirmation. My call to customer service was a joke. They could give me no information on my order, The person could not speak English clearly enough for me to understand. He would not let me speak to anyone else. This place is a JOKE.
If you want customer service, DON'T order HERE.
