"In August 2010, (order #2205) I ordered a wooden tortilla press, which was shipped promptly, and I enjoyed using exactly four (4) times through early November 2010, when a significant flaw in the structure of the press which caused a catastrophic failure of the handle's mounting hinge support.

Unfortunately, thelatinproducts.com decided that 63 days is too long to stand behind a simple wooden product, and refused to either replace, or credit, or work with me in any way on this issue. Complex electronic products are warranted for longer.

Photographs of the problem were sent to Francisco Tovar, the CEO, showing that what I believed to be a cosmetic issue was "fixed" with two small nails, but later failed. Apparently, users of the product are expected to be experts on it's construction, and able to identify structural problems prior to it's use."
