"I purchased an LED traffic baton from this company. As soon as I received it, the batteries heated up in the light and exploded. I bought a whole new set of batteries, thinking the batteries could have been bad, only to have the same thing happen. Returning anything to this company is a chore. You have to go through an extended process just to get a return number (they won't accept it without one!). "Mary" emailed me saying it was the batteries. I gave her step by step instructions on how to emulate the problem, which she clearly failed to do. It cost me more in shipping to receive and ship this item back than it did to buy the light in the first place. This company has ZERO customer service. IF YOU ARE A POLICE OFFICER, DO NOT BUY THESE LED LIGHTS! THEY'RE VERY CHEAPLY MADE!"

"Don't trust this vendor. They sent me 6 LED bulbs that stopped functioning for unknown reasons. We immediately sent 4 back for a replacement. They replaced the bulbs without a problem although we had to pay for shipping. The 4 bulbs they sent back were defective as well. So I decided to send them all 6 bulbs back since the other 2 stopped functioning properly as well. All the trouble began at this point where a female worker claimed that I only gave them 5 bulbs when we actually sent them all 6. We talked to a manager who argued with my wife about this and told her that he was sure we sent only 5. He said he would check and give us a call. He did not return the phone call. As my wife told them that a UPS rep at the UPS Store could verify that there was in fact 6 bulbs in the box, he began to talk over my wife and tell her that there were 5 bulbs in the box and to "stop calling us 100 times" (we only called maybe 3 times that day but it was because they didn't call us back that we were forced to call the last time). He then said "you're just wasting my time"..."1 bulb is nothing to us". If 1 bulb is nothing then why not credit us for the difference instead of saying there were only 5 bulbs? Each bulb was about $32 which is a lot of money. I suspect these guys either didn't count the number of bulbs correctly or they are using the extra light bulb to recoup the loss of the bulbs and the sale which should NOT be the burden of the customer."

"This online store has an abundance of LED lighting products, maybe more than I've seen all in one place before. I placed an order for 4 line items. The order arrived in a timely manner but one line item, 2 LED bulbs, was incorrect. It seems that somebody had grabbed the wrong two bulbs and placed them in my package.

I emailed the vendor to explain the problem. Mary emailed back that she'd issue a UPS Calltag for return of the incorrect bulbs at their expense. She further indicated that they'd only send the correct product once they'd received the wrong ones back.

I emailed her back that since this was their error, I thought she should immediately ship the correct bulbs to me while I waited for UPS to arrive to pickup the incorrect ones.

Mary's emailed reply was to the effect that they don't trust their customers and would not send the correct bulbs, to correct THEIR error, until they had the wrong bulbs in their hands ("... sometimes our human customers forget to send back the goods when these things happen as they sometimes do.")

At this point, I phoned Mary and politely explained that I saw her job as being a problem solver. The "problem" was that I took issue with her policy of not wanting to correct her error by immediately sending me the correct bulbs. I suggested that I shouldn't be the one waiting since I was not the one who had made the error. She refused to budge on this. She could have made me completely happy by sending the 2 bulbs I ordered (which had a total retail value of $12). But, instead, she chose to lose my continued business and goodwill. I did ask for her supervisor but was told there wasn't one to talk to.

As a result of this "policy" of theirs, I'm afraid that I cannot recommend doing business with "The LED Light". Any company that will choose to distrust their customers (for a whopping $12) doesn't deserve my business!
