Cancelled order???

"I placed a large order with GAP last week, as had received a 40% off discount code, stocked up on important items for this time off year like I do most years with them. Checked my bank and the payment has been returned! I've had no email from them explain why, other than the invoice confirming my order from 7 days ago! Tried to call them, during opening hours, message stating closed, sent an email and patiently wait a reply! Very disappointed!!! "

Horrible packaging

"First of all, I love Gap and will continue to shop there but probably not online. I placed a large order and the first box to arrive looked like it reused tissue paper from the trash. The clothes were thrown in the box, none in individual plastic bags like I have always received, and shoes also thrown in there. I sent a picture to customer service but have not heard back. Another shipment arrived today and a pair of the shoes were visibly worn!! And worn a lot may I add. Third box arrived and there was the wrong size jeans in there and a partial packing slip so I can't check everything off unless I go online. I am just shocked this is how Gap would send out their product. I can't wait to see how the rest of the order turns out. "

Missing items

"I placed a large order on gap.com, and though all the items supposedly shipped, and were on the package inserts, I never received all of my items. When I reached out, multiple times, to try and resolve this, I received no response at all. Completely terrible and ridiculous."

Could care less to help out online customers even when the solution is extremely simple and with minimal effort.

"Look, what I've seen with this site recently is that whatever their management situation, I could care less. They do not give the simplest and most basic of customer care to their online consumers like other sites. They will not do the simplest of measures and will do everything to screw you out of your money! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!"

Gap cheats!

"Ordered 9 items of which I received only 4. all items have been marked shipped. I have been charged for all 9 items. I wonder how such a big company can cheat its customers. Disgusting! Will never ever order from gap again. This is not the first time but the third time that I have to go through this nonsense. "

Customer Service is a Joke!

"If you expect the items you purchase to be shipped when promised, do not shop at Gap! They offer promotions and then you don't get your order for over 30 days, and they offer you no coupons or other amounts off for your trouble. And if you call customer service to complain, expect to be on hold over 30 minutes, only to be told there's nothing they can do. Meanwhile they are still promising 7 day shipping on their website! If I could give them a 0 in every category I would. Shop at Amazon instead!!"

Still waiting......

"I placed an online order 11/25/16. As of today, 12/10/16, GAP still has not shipped the 4 items. I called customer service on 12/8/16 and was told GAP is backed up at the warehouse. HIRE SOME EMPLOYEES. I will look at other s stores in the future and cancel my GAP credit card. RIDICULOUS service."

Gap continues to go downhill

"Over the years, the quality of Gap clothing has continued to decline. That said, I still have been purchasing items for my children, largely due to the great sales Gap offers.

BUT I'VE NOW HAD IT! I placed an order 10 days ago that still shows a status of shipment pending. I sent an inquiry via email 3 days ago and have not heard back from them. I am currently on hold with customer service and have been waiting for an agent for well over 30 minutes.

Gap, if you read this, know I'm done with you!

"Ordered a shirt online, and it came with a security tag attached to it. Nice. Customer service told me I could take it to a Gap store (30 miles away for me) or ship it back--both options at my cost. This was my third order with them and definitely my last. Not worth the risk to have them screw up an order and expect the customer to pay for their mistake. Here's their response verbatim:

"Please take the Heavyweight plaid worker shirt to your local Gap store for a manager's evaluation or, if it was an online purchase, send it to us at gap.com and we'll be happy to offer you a refund if a member of our returns team deems it defective. We invite you to call us at the number below to order a replacement.…"

"I like Gap, but they're online shipping time is ridiculous. Order placed 11/28 still has not shipped yet and emails to costumer service were responded to with their 8-12 day delivery policy. Apparently gap customer service reps can't count. It's already been 10 days since I placed the order, and now the estimated delivery date is 12/15, that is if it ever ships. If I never contacted customer service, I would not have received this information. If you are thinking of ordering items for delivery before Christmas, good luck!"

"I purchased two orders from The Gap. They allowed me at time of order to use two coupon codes. I thought that it was a bit odd but since I had both coupons working I figured that okay they are trying to get rid of clearance items since two coupons did not work on full price merchandise.
A few days later I logged on their 'track your order' function and my orders showed as canceled. I called them and asked them why I had not gotten an email or notification of cancellation. They said that they decided to cancel orders placed with two coupons, a few friends had the same issue. So I asked them if they could do something for me to make it better, maybe simply help me out a little bit since I had ordered one of these orders to be sent to my niece as a birthday gift. They said that they could replace the order with one of the coupons from the order but other than that they were not willing to help me because I did something shady and basically that I was lucky they were letting me reorder at all.
I asked to speak to a supervisor because at this point I was beginning to feel like a thief for their computer glitch and had not even seen an email letting me know it was canceled.
The supervisor gave me the same song and dance and told me that any other company would have done the same because I should not have ever used two codes on an order.
I informed her that there are a few retailers that allow it so while I thought it was odd that Gap allowed me to I assumed they were clearing out their inventory.
At that point the call escalated, and I am not proud of the way I spoke to the agent but again she began to make me feel like I was trying to steal from the company.
I will never use Gap Inc (Old Navy, Banana Republic, Piper Lime) again simply for the horrible way they made me feel when calling them.

Also my order was cancelled on Saturday: I still have no email from the company. Had I not been diligent about my order I never would have noticed that the order was not processing until it was too late for my niece to get her gift.

"They are my go to store for all day to day cloth. Sometimes shipping is a bit slow but in general very good. I pretty much always wait for sales to buy and find pretty good deals. IN general they are pretty good. Will buy again."

"AWFUL!! Too long to ship and then uses Fedex smartpost which
should be banned as well as the UPS version that combines with the post office for shipping. They do not inform you that their free shipping is this combination. Took 10 days to leave warehouse and another 10 days to reach destination. 20 days
from date of order! I will not order from gap again. I think they
life off their name and not the quality of their merchandise or their very poor service.
