"My formerly good mechanics have become a crew of incompetents. Brought van in for a new tire with specific instructions to check pressure in the spare and put it back under the van. Also told them the hubcap was in the back of the van and they needed to put it back on with the new tire. Also told them the vibration that was supposedly fixed by wheel balancing last time I was here (and transmission mount from another shop) wasn't fixed.
Outcome?
They say the first balancing job they did wasn't good, but they've fixed it. I'll find out for sure when I take it on the road.
They stuck the spare in the van. Because you know, that's more logical than putting it where it belongs.
They didn't put the hubcap on (it apparently has to go on before the nuts).
And best of all they broke off one of the posts and didn't bother to fix it. They wouldn't have done or said anything if I hadn't noticed it. I had to demand they fix it while I'm waiting; I refuse to leave until it is taken care of.
There's no communication between management and staff, no instructions are written down, and logic is not applied. I've been bringing my van here since I first bought it, and unless there's a drastic change I don't know if I'll be bringing it back. If they can't handle something as simple as a new tire, why would I think they could handle something complicated?"

"Believe it or not, a squirrel climbed up under the hood of my car and ate the fuel injectors right off. I was to leave on a 900 mile trip at 6 in the morning and turned the ignition key and the engine sounded like there might be parts missing, and there was. I called Tire Choice and they took my car in at 7 and they had new parts installed and road tested by 2 pm. Without them addressing the problem head on, I could of been delayed for days.
