"I ordered a Panasonic two-head telephone on January 2, 2015. I was told by The Nerds that it would be delivered before January 29, 2015. It was not. I could not get a tracking number and had to go through Amazon for a refund only to find that the company was no longer associated with them.

If I could give them no stars, I would. Avoid this disreputable company.

"TheNerds.net is the most incompetent, unprofessional web site I have ever dealt with. I work for a large defense contractor and order tens of thousands of dollars in various types of material and computer components per year. I've dealt with a few marginal web sites but TheNerds.net is by far the worst. I had never dealt with them before; a colleague had recommended them for some HP plotter paper so I decided to give them a try. The paper was needed ASAP. I placed the order between 11am and noon on Feb. 11 and received an immediately email acknowledging the order.
So far so good. Because this was a rush need, I had agreed to pay $185.17 for overnight delivery. I paid an additional $3.99 for "rush processing" (what a joke!). And that is it. I never received an email with a tracking number. I have called them repeatedly at ***-***-**** (at least 8 times) and they never answered the phone. All calls but 2 were placed during their alleged business hours. No answer. I also placed two calls during their off hours and was able to leave two voice-mails asking them to call me immediately. As I type this review, it's 11:30am on Feb. 13 and I have still not been able to speak to anyone at TheNerds.net. I managed to find the paper this morning at Office Depot and they will deliver the paper Mon., Feb. 16 with no delivery charge. And their price per roll is $2 cheaper. We decided to reject the order whenever it's delivered and then went to the web site to see how to return the order if needed. There we discovered that the only way to return an order is to request an RMA label. I.E, you cannot reject the delivery. You have to accept it and then return the order with an RMA label. And the customer has to pay for return shipping. I have NEVER dealt with a more difficult and incompetent vendor in my life. And I look forward to seeing them out of business as soon as possible. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

"I ordered a gamepad for my PC. Payment was processed almost immediatly but no tracking number was provided to me. I've sent 4 or 5 e-mails to them so far to aquire a tracking number for my item. no response has yet been given. If my item doesnt arrive by the 22th of jan they lose all business from me in the future."

"I really should have come here first before I ordered from these scheisters. I ordered a lamp. Of course it was defective...and guess what? No refunds OR exchanges! Go figure! So they just take your money and ship you trash. I'm so glad I paid rush shipping for them to send me junk."

"Charged my card for $1567+ (funds cleared) for some refurbished tablets, two and a half weeks later they still haven't shipped anything and don't answer emails at all. I've just tried calling them and was hung up on three times, once after spending twenty minutes on hold. Avoid this company like the plague."

"Ordered full version of Dragon Dictate and they sent me the educational version instead. I called to request an exchange (I can't register/use the educational version without proof of being a student, which I'm not) and after being kept on hold I was rudely told they had no way of knowing if the correct product would ship out to me the second time or if it would be the educational version instead. They suggested I just return the product I had received and they'd give me a full refund. They sent me an email saying the return had been processed and a credit would be posted to my card within 2 weeks, but the credit was less than the amount I paid. I didn't notice this until 6 weeks later and when I looked into it, I realized the credit never even posted. I disputed this with the credit card company and they are pursuing it with TheNerds and reporting it to Visa. If enough other reports are received, Visa may take action on TheNerds or stop approving them as a vendor. I would suggest anyone having this kind of trouble (even if it's just the reduced refund credit) call their credit card and file a dispute."

"I ordered what they advertized to be a 16GB Kingston Laptop ram kit and they shipped me 8GB. It was a problem with their part# so they said they could not honor the purchase but would refund my money. OK, Mistakes happen. They refunded my money but charged me for shipping the wrong item and a restocking fee. I have sent an email with no response and called but their phone system has dropped my call to their support line twice before I have been able to resolve this. "

"I purchased a supermico chassis for a server in March and the service was terrible, slow shipping, no response to email, chat super did not follow up our problem. Finally received order. Ordered again thinking the first time was just one of those things. Wow I was so wrong. The service and response to emails is non existent. I still wonder how these guys maintain their business but it will catch up to them with so many terrible reviews. Stay away from these guys unless you don't care about service and support. BAD NEWS!!!"

"Purchased Koblenz washer on Amazon and did not find a return label near the 30 day return date. Iopened a fedex account and was quoted 44.94 ship price. The washer was returned to theNerds and theNerds paid 15.00 shipping. I notified them of fedex re-priced charge of $176.28. The result is that I paid for a Koblenz washer which theNerds has probably sold. I would not use theNerds again."

"What a terrible company, I bought a very good chair mat from them and after about 3 months it started cracking where the wheels of the chair are. I contacted them via email, no response. Waited a couple of weeks and contacted them again, no response. Tried calling customer service and they dont answer the phone gave up after about 15 minutes. Emailed third time and guess what, no response. Emailed fourth time and they finally replied that since they never responded to the previous emails that 6 months had passed and they will do nothing and I should contact the manufacturer. I did not buy it from the manufacturer I bought it from them and they need to stand behind the products that they sell Buyer beware!!"
