"If you request a quote rather than just placing an online order, be sure to note the clause in the quote regarding sales taxes. TestEquity seems to charge sales tax to every state. The quote you receive will only list the cost of the product, not shipping or sales tax. You will not discover that subtlety regarding sales tax until you receive the invoice, which arrives a few days after you receive the unit.

Also, if the unit is not in stock, be wary of estimated availability dates. When I placed the order on July 7th, the availability was forecast as July 22nd, That slipped a couple times to August 31st (a weekend). The unit finally shipped September 2nd. This may be an unusual situation, but if you have another retailer having the unit in stock for a slightly higher cost, this is a consideration.

Also, TestEquity's internal systems appear to be a bit antiquated. Unlike Amazon's proactive approach, getting status from TestEquity requires more customer effort via e-mails and phone calls."
