"I'm actually sorry to have to leave this review as we've been ordering from tech checks for many years. Unfortunately for the second time, we've received a batch of checks with blanks in the mix. By blanks, I mean that a piece of check stock came through their printers, but did not include a check number.
If you are running a large batch of checks and there is a blank numbered check in the mix, all of your following checks are mis-numbered. If you download cleared checks, there are many, (in my case hundreds) that don't match up with the correct amount.
The first time this happened it was one check out of 1200 and tech checks sent me a new batch free.
The most recent time there were two checks out of 1200, causing me to have to re-run 400 checks two different times.
My software requires me to individually void all the checks that were printed incorrectly. Our usual run takes me about 1.5 hours to complete. This run took an entire 6 hours to complete correctly.
When I ask for a refund instead of a new batch of checks, they hung up on me, probably because I had already said that I had ordered check elsewhere.
The new vender costs a bit more, but I'm hoping I don't run into the same problem.
Their cheep until you have to shred nearly 800 checks and spend hours trying to get it right. "
