"Your right, things about this CGS Tech. company are shady. They offered to warrant my PC I bought from Teacco, but only if I made a MAJOR purchase. I filled out all the papers and attempted to buy a small item to get started, but they said I had to buy more than that or have a history with them, ie buy lots of stuff.
I would suggest just staying away from this CGS Technology company also.

"TeAcco is no longer in business. There was some kind of relationship between Pony and Teacco, but not sure what kind.

At first TeAcco honored Pony warranties then Aug 2001 they had a change of heart. We've ordered over 100 systems from Pony and TeAcco, and now are forced to scrap them as they break.

We have deleted our prior postings which mentioned CGS Technology. We have no knowledge as to its principles or its form of ownership and have no knowledge regarding any legal connection it may have to Teacco or Pony Computers.

"This is a letter I recieved. I purchased hundreds of pcs form teacco/pony and have been 100% satisfied. If anyone has info where they went, I want more pcs from them.

Dear valued customer,

As of today, March 13, 2002 TeACCo has ended it's operations in Ohio as a distributor of high quality computers and components.

I would like to express my deepest appreciation for your support over the past 16 months.

I will be moving to a new company, CGS Technologies, within the next 6 weeks. CGS Technologies will handle many of the same high quality computers and components that TeACCo distributed. Additionally, CGS Technologies has been chosen to fulfill any remaining warranties for TeACCo.

"As everyone has guessed Teacco is evidently belly up - try to contact them and no answer - scumbags! I ordered a computer on 2/28/92 (recommendation from a friend who got a computer from them last year and was very happy) Got the computer and checked it out for the first time last Monday. Modem doesn't work and some other problems - I thought no big deal - stuff happens right? Tried to contact Teacco and no answer - gone! So much for my tech support and warranties! At least these people could have the decency to make arrangements for someone else to pick-up the customers instead of vanishing in the middle of the night! If anyone has any further info on Teacco, Pony or whatever the name the people are using this week I'd sure appriciate it if they would contact me at ****@****. I tried to contact that Cindy at Broadview Computers in Detroit who said that she's purchased 100+ computers and was tickled pink -I wonder how she feels now! Thanks, Boatbob"

"My experience was buying 126 computers. I shopped for three vendors and finally convinced that TeACCo had won my bid. I placed my order and after reading this site, held my breath.
In one week I got a call from our sales rep, telling me that the order was ready to ship. The day after she called me, I had a special delivery from their company delivery truck.
As I booted each computer, I held my breath, because of what I read on this site.
One after the other booted.
Out of 126 computers 1 keyboard was bad. I called TeACCo and our female sales rep shipped a new one while I got an RMA to return the non-functional keyboard.
Undoubtedly - this was the best experience that I have ever had and highly recommend this company and our sales assistant.
Lesson to be learned: Although our country allows you to write whatever you wish from the Freedom of Speach amendment, Don't believe everything you read.
It's not always true and you just may be limiting yourself if you do.
