"This was the worst computer buying experience of my life, and I have been buying computers both professionally and personally for twenty years. From order to delivery was a full month. It would have been even longer since the computer was shipped to the wrong address - luckily I saw the mistake on UPS.com and was able to redirect the package.

The real problem lies with the total lack of quality: Seven of the eight screws motherboard screws were the wrong size, one of the back cover screws was the wrong size, one of the back cover screws was missing, two of the back cover screw holes are stripped, one hard drive screw was missing, there was a loose screw in the LCD compartment, the DVD cable was loose, and I probably forgot several items.


To make matters worse, the computer is shipped with a BIOS password. This means that before anythign can be done, tech support must be called.

"Tangent builds an average clone computer. The problem lies in their tech support and warranty program. We purchsed over 500 units and ended up having to purchase replacement power supplies due to Tangent not taking responsibility for defective parts. "
