Normally, I shop locally (in Canada), but after seeing the prices on TMS, I was already ordering my first backpack from them (the deal was unbeatable, even after the exchange rate and border fees) - of course, not all gear would be worth shipping, but in conjunction with a coupon or sale, you could find a pretty good deal there if you're in Canada.
