"very poor service, customer services hanging up the phone in your face. packages that were paid over night didn't arrived. when you call they will give you lame, half true stories with out taking care of you. do your self a favor and take your business elsewhere!!!!!!!!"

DON'T SHOP HERE FOR CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!!!!!!!

"My husband orders from TW frequently. But for HIS Christmas presents I put my name on the order and wanted to ship to my son's house so he wouldn't know what he's getting.....a fishing pole looks like a fishing pole when it comes!!!! I received a call that they could not ship to a different address than the billing address until I "have an established account with them and they are trying to protect their customers." OK, that's nice, but my husband has that established account and our card number is the same! I explained this to the the rep and asked him to look into the account of my husband, see that THERE IS an established account, and not to ruin his Christmas! They still said no!
As one of the reviews above stated, no one else gives you a hassle like this when ordering Christmas presents. Can you imagine a Christmas season where you can't ship orders to anyone else??? Ridiculous.

Horrible experience.

"Order not received. No reimbursement. No excuse. Horrible customer service!
When I order something I'm expecting to receive what I order.
If the product is lost during delivery I'm expecting to be reimbursed. So normal service expected from a seller. It's not at all the case with this tackle warehouse company!

Lame

"I placed an order, used PayPal and never heard from these goons. After 5 days I called and talked to a kid who told me I should have gotten an email.......no ****. He then tells me the item is on back order and it will be about 3 weeks. Then he says hello? hello? And hangs up, still waiting on the email. I'll never give them another chance. Spend your money somewhere else."

Great tackle, great prices, prompt shipping

"I've been dealing with Tacklewarehouse since they were a storefront in Arroyo Grande. Several of their employees are as addicted to bass fishing as any of their customers. They stock a lot of quality gear, have great prices, and in my experience prompt, free shipping. Sorry to hear some didn't have a good experience, but I think it's absurd that any rating system can show a business with thousands of satisfied customers with a rating of one. "

NEVER. AGAIN.

"Tackle warehouse, while having great products, has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen in my entire life. I ordered a Abu Garcia reel, an Abu Garcia rod, and a free t-shirt that came with it. I paid $5 for the extra 2 day shipping, and FIVE BUSINESS DAYS LATER, I still do not have my package. This company need to rethink their definition on the term "Customer service.""

Clueless to the words "Customer Service"

"I tried placing an order on their site worth $550 and mistakingly used the incorrect payment method. So I called their toll free number to see if someone there can help me fix the issue. The associate, her name was Randy, that answered the phone began to explain what I needed to do without making any effort to help fix it. Basically wanted me to do all the leg work rather than have her look up my account and fix the issue right away. So I simply asked "All I would like to know is can you or can't you help me with this" and I hear her say "Oh Wow" so I ask what the "Oh Wow" was for and then I hear her say "I'm done" and hangs up on me. I call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. I get someone named Shawn and I begin to explain to him what happened and asked if what occurred validated her hanging up on me. He says the reason she hung up on me was because I used vulgar language which was completely false. She told him that to cover her behind. He seemed to not believe me and was very nonchalant about the situation and didn't seem to care. I told him to cancel the $550 order and once again he didn't seem to care either way. After pointing out to him that he seemed to not care he tried to offer me a 10% discount on my next order and I told him I was done with Tackle Warehouse and would never order from them again. Once again he seemed to not care either way. Bottom line is Tackle Warehouse has gotten so big that they've forgotten about customer service so if a customer inquires about something in a way they don't want to deal with them they feel they can treat that customer as they like. There's way too much competition online to treat customers in this manner or any poor manner period. I took the $550 and spent it with another retailer. Never again. God forbid you have an issue and need help. Good luck trying to get it. I hope the owner of Tackle Warehouse realizes the poor level of service the employees working for them provide. Very Poor!"

"Worst experience I have had with a supply company. This company is listed as a sponsor for my son’s High School Bass Fishing Team. Have no idea how they became a sponsor. They advised they only provide a discount for the coach. I went to them because they were a sponsor I thought and believed in kids. I painstakingly got one order through of items my son needed before a tournament. After this I have tried to make $300 – $500 orders and have been unsuccessful. Yes they do have a great selection but are also exasperating when dealing with them directly on the phone. Many of you are in the same boat as I am and divorced. Since my son lives with his mother at another address they would not send my requested purchase to him. I was required to have my order sent to my home and then I could send the order to him. I have never encountered this from any supplier before. They then advised that that if I purchased gift card, my son could then order from the gift card and the items would be sent directly to him. This was done, I purchased a $100 gift card. To which their system or someone there cancelled.
Apparently they have entirely too much business to care about providing service. I suggest you go to Gambler, Cabela’s, Bass Pro or Academy Sports. I will never go back to this company and will make sure their name is removed as a sponsor.

"Ordered some tackle on black Friday weekend at 20% off. After 2 weeks I contacted customer service about the conflicting data on tracking my order., (One part of the tracking data said Order Status : Complete - All items have been shipped.) At the end of the tracking data it said Order has invoiced but not shipped yet. I questioned the invoice to Customer service On December 4, who wrote me back the same day saying the order shipped! On December 15, they sent me an email that a refund has been made to my account. "

"I stumbled onto their site one day when the item that I needed wasn't available at Cabelas or bass pro. I was amazed to discover that their selection was actually better than either of the two giant stores. The prices were as good or better and I received my order fast. After that first experience, I have been buying from them almost exclusively. I have a cabelas credit card so I accumulate points over the year that can be redeemed to buy my fishing stuff. The only time I don't buy from Tackle Warehouse is when I want to use up my cabelas points. I can count on one hand the number of companies in America that are a pleasure to do business with, and this is one of them."

"My experience with this company has been the worst I have ever had with a company, and that is saying a lot considering the underside of the seat in my Ford F150 just sliced my finger so bad I had to get 5 stitches, with a 4 hours wait at the hospital. This company ha wasted more of my time that that episode did. I tried to spend 300$ on a fishing reel. Made the order, included 5$ for 2 days shipping, they then sent me an E-mail saying that they had to confirm my mastercard. They then proceeded to make a charge between .01$ and 3$ to my card. I had to call my bank back 3 times, wasted over 4 hours of my time trying to get this amount, so I could fill it back on a form they sent me, and then send it back. That means I have to print the form. Fill it out. Scan it. Send it back, and all this to give them 300$ of my money. All this because I'm Canadian, which clearly makes me an international criminal. Outrageous. My time being the most important thing in the world to me, I can't believe they made me waste it. I will never use this company again unless they come to the realization that this process is not only arduous, its far too overzealous, and revise it to something that makes sense. Also, I will go further and take any opportunity I can to announce to the world how ludicrous this website's process is. Do not buy from them, you will regret it. What's more, their verification process is a joke."
