"The Two's room was great. When they recently moved my son up to the next room, I was very unhappy with the lack of warmth, ternderness, and care toward the children in the room by the new teachers. Then I witnessed an incident between a teacher and my son on WatchMeGrow that broke my heart and I insisted my son be taken out of that room. I am angry and heartbroken at what I saw and I have noticed a significant increase in undesirable behaviors since he had been in that room. The day this happened, when I came to pick up my son, they had moved my son back to the old room but ALSO moved that teacher who was man handling him to that room as well! How uncomfortable!?"

"It looks like the eve of every holiday our school closes early, 3 pm rather than 6:30 pm. Tuition is still expected to be paid in full. I hope you realize the strain this puts on certain parents that work in hospitals or other jobs that don’t allow them to leave early on the eve of holidays. When that happens I have to spend extra money on top of the full tuition paid to school to find childcare during the hours the school is supposed to be open (hours that I paid for). I don’t think is fair. Same situation when school closes once a year for a staff meeting. Tuition is expected in full while I am left with having to spend extra $$$ to pay someone else to watch my child. Also the vacation policy is not very fair as well. Half tuition is expected when the child is in vacation. If you have 2 children that adds up pretty quick. If re-enrolling them is cheaper than having to pay half tuition then I’d rather do that. This policy paired up with the situation above does not seem like a fair deal to working parents."

"We have been incredibly happy with this school experience. Our son in enrolled in early preschool. He feels safe and secure (despite some separation anxiety) and comes home happily talking about what he did at school. He talks positively about all of the teachers he interacts with not just his core teachers. We have seen him grow so much and learn a great deal. Our daughter is enrolled in the infant program and while she can't tell us how great her day is, the transition was smooth for her which shows us that she is very well cared for. She is as happy as ever and the teachers are very supportive of us as parents."

"The staff is truly wonderful! They made me feel completely at ease with dropping my daughter off here. We had the most wonderful experience at TutorTime Schaumburg and would definitely recommend. We just wish the price was a little bit cheaper. We are saving $300 a month by going with a comparable center in the area. Very sad to leave! We loved everyone there!"

"We love the teachers at our school. Most of them seem to genuinely care for their students. Sometimes the communication is not the greatest. Messages are sent out and sometime they apply to all group ages, sometime they apply to the individual student only. It would be nice to flag the message as in mass message vs. individual message). Also, the idea of summer camp sounds like an optional thing. But if we choose to continue to bring the child to the center over the summer we have to pay the 'summer camp' fee. It feels like we pay extra because we choose to continue to bring business ($$) to the center over the summer. It doesn’t seem right. Camp should be optional. Camp fee and registration fee on top of the tuition fee ...it gets expensive especially that the tuition charged by Tutor Time is one of the higher ones compared to other centers in the area. In college you only pay registration fee once, not yearly. Why would a 1 year old or 2 or 3 require over $100 in registration fee yearly if nothing in her folder changes beside her age?To conclude, this is an expensive center to attend. The teachers are great, we love them and we are very grateful for all they do for our little ones. The atmosphere is friendly and feels safe. It makes sense to pay more for quality services. But it would be nice if corporate can identify opportunities to cut some of these expenses or make them optional where applicable especially for full-time families or families with more than one child that spend so much every month (e.g. registration fees, summer camp, vacation policy is a little outrageous too)."

"Initially, I thought the school was great. My children had been attending from 12 weeks on. Everyone was super friendly and appeared to be interested in my children; but now I see it was a cover for their short comings. As things became challenging (as all preschoolers are), it became clear that the Mangement and Staff were not willing to put forth the effort to meet my child's needs. Singling my child out did not help the situation either. I would think People with a certificate in early childhood education would know this. Communication also fell through the cracks and being asked to disenroll was a surprise. There was no indication that this was being considered at the time. However; it is good that we are no longer there. My children are at a school with a better curriculum, better organization, and more qualified teachers. Miraculously, all the issues that the TT Teachers were having with my child have disappeared."

"My son has thrived here and has been very happy. He is learning new words each day in the toddler room and has shown us that he can be more independent than we may give him credit for based on the skills he is learning at school."
