The old director was wonderful. She too was replaced by someone who is great but very quickly left on maternity leave-- again providing us with very inconsistent care."

"Our children’s main teachers were awesome. Very friendly and our children loved them. The brightwheel app is great as well because of the updates (pictures, activities, messages) the teachers provide to the parents. The outside play area needs updating. New turf, as well as new equipment (the village included) is needed. Also, the menu, compared to other Tutor Times seems to be lacking in variety. Special diet requests are often met with cold cheese sandwiches. Promises made (upon enrollment) to fulfill dietary needs never fully met (i.e. cheese sandwiches). Unfortunately snacks are packed so my children will have food to eat for the 6-8 hrs they are at school, considering tuition covers food. My children have made some social advancements, not quite sure if that’s enough to keep them enrolled for another year."

"At first the experience was wonderful. The facility was clean and when director jenn was there she was awesome. Always took time to address my concerns. My child had same teachers all the time and he felt safe and loved. Now director has changed and the teachers are always fluctuating. My child came home with no diaper on one day . The teacher also didn’t remember if my child used the bathroom. They appeared never to do anything educational. Things have gotten bad there. Since the director change things have really declined"

"I really always loved tutor time. The atomosphere was so positive- the teachers were professional. They fired our director Jen - who was amazing and caring and communicated. Once she left that went away. Communications come through email, are late if any. Programs that were fun have stopped. Several great teachers have left. The newer staff isn’t as engaged and forthcoming with information - it’s like pulling teeth. I would expect when I got to pick up my son to know how the day was. I do have to say when I did have an issue the new director put me at ease. I know it is still a transition period. I like the flexability of having as many or as little days I need- I would hate for that to go away. Overall, improve communication- from the teacher level to the overall school level (let us know if it’s through email or the app?)Be friendly and don’t bounce the kids around so much. I really want to stay but am up in the air."

"We have been there less than a year. So far our experience is overall positive. Everyone seems to know my son when we drop off, and are happy to see him which is nice feeling to leave your child at. I notice some staff turn over after a few months which was disappointing because I really loved the people he started with. The new people seem good too but the original connection to his teacher hasn’t yet been fully restored, having to build back up to that again is my least favorite part so far. However the new teacher and staff do seem great, just getting to know them and then getting to know my son takes time so I really hope there isn’t a lot of churn again any time soon. My son is always happy at pick up and I feel confident he’s safe and exploring all day!"

"My three year old son was enrolled at Tutortime in Ronkonkoma and due to complete negligent behavior by the staff I cured a serious injury in their care due to negligent behavior by incompetent staff! No answers, no apologies by the director or staff members. Cruel people! Please reconsider if thinking about this place and if you care about your children’s safety! They act like they care until something happens and then try to blame the poor child instead of looking at their inept policies. My son will have a permanent scar forever on his face due to negligence but the psychological scars left by this place will forever be deep!!! "
