Software doesn't work, Support doesn't either

"I purchased DVD Ripper for Mac for a client project of ripping about 200 DVD's to extract the audio to convert them to digital format for ease of use and storage. Most of the DVDs are of musicians performing live or otherwise focusing on the audio over the video (Concerts, Live Performance, etc).

Apparently this software CANNOT read DVD-Audio discs, which is a BIG caveat for anyone thinking of purchasing. I went back and forth with Tipard Support via Email (Copied Below), I'd like to point out two things: 1) I indicated I am using the Mac version of the Software in my email subject line, yet they send me PC troubleshooting instructions, and 2) Their ultimate solution was "try another disc".

As for this problem, we need to collect your log file to analyze your concrete problem.Please do as below:
Step1, Please unpack the .zip file “vm.zip” to your desktop which we have sent you, and insert the DVD which you cannot load successfully.
Step2, Please click the button of “Start”>“Run” on your computer and then enter “cmd”, then you will get a blank window just like below one:


Step3, please write “cd” and press the space key. And then find the file folder which you have unpacked and drag the file folder into this page. Please make sure the two paths are same.

If they are different, please just press “enter” key and enter the correspondence path.

Step4, Please press the key of “Enter” on the keyboard, then you will get a window just like below:

Step5, please enter “run_vm.bat”+ space key and disc destination, like: run_vm.bat H:
And then, please press “Enter” key.

Step6, Then there will be vm.log file appear under the file folder which we have sent you.
Please find it and send us the “vm.log” file for a test.

Never buy anything from this company

"Never buy anything from this company, I bought a lifetime registration for Tipard DVD ripper, works until you need to reinstall the DVD ripper then you get a 4104 error, basically you cannot use the registration code again.....Then why give out a lifetime registration then, these codes they sell are for one use only, they told me this in an email from support, so when you need to reinstall the software forget it you have lost your money.

The products are poor anyhow and would not recommend this company to anyone!
Never had this from any other company I have bought from ever.
That goes for anything to do with Avangate who sell the products too.

"I requested that TIPARD.COM had a review site for the simple fact they are SCAM ARTISTS! We should have been leary we looked for the Tipard Cloner DVD-6 reviews are there were none for that website. I had placed my order with them and I waited two weeks and my shipment never came in the mail. Since they do not have a phone number to contact them at I emailed them with my order number included and it took the second email I sent for them to finally contact me back by email. I was FURIOUS not only because they waited 2 1/2 weeks to email me back but then informed me I didn't order any software which I gave them my order number and the money was withdrawn out of my account to prove it. So they sent me a download which was not what I had ordered and so I asked for a refund and they would not contact me back. So people PLEASE BEWARE of TIPARD.COM, they are SCAM ARTISTS!! I went to Herman Street and boought the DVD Cloner 8 and not only was they're customer service help with all our questions but they were very nice, and you got what you paid for, which was AMAZING!"
