DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

"The very first(and only) order was screwed up by their shipping dept. The over $100 worth of of coppa never even left their facility and yet their customer support person tried blaming FedEx. Five days later and they still hadn't emailed my "replacement" shipping details. I was lied to 3 different times by their customer support person(Chantelle) and it's unacceptable. Nearly 3 weeks now........and still no coppa. Learn from my experience and buy your Italian products elsewhere.

good products but terrible customer service

"I have not had a problem with the products or shipping. I have had to call them for my charges when trying to use reward points and when discounts are offered. The woman I have talked to (when they finally answer the phone) on several occasions was condescending,, rude, cryptic and quite frankly if she worked for me I would fire her, I felt like I was bothering her when I tried to explain that the site would not let me put in the discount code. It was obvious that she has no customer service skills ( I have taught this for a major company for over 43 yrs) and they just want you to go online and not bother them. How unprofessional for a family owned business. You are losing business by operating the way you do...train your people who answer the phone or you will soon be out of business as you are not the only game in town. If I could have given you zero stars I would"

Spurned on Job Opportunity For No Real Reason

"I applied for a position as a copywriter and they rejected me for such a petty reason. I underwent the interview process and took 3 hours out of my day to write multiple copies for product descriptions and other online content. The marketing manager, Taylor, didn't offer me the job because I didn't "complete the copy on a separate document." Seriously? If they are this needlessly picky about following instructions, then you likely won't want to work for them. "

Terrible!! Crooks!!

"Terrible!! Crooks !! Saw their ad on Facebook. Wanted to help small business. Went to their website. Ordered over $50 of their food- nothing outrageous-- all readily available. They had my money in 2 minutes. Next day received an email acknowledging order, but no delivery date. I emailed twice, asking for delivery date. Response was “...maybe in 10 days...” Finally delivery came- packaged very un-professionally. Food was warm. The chunk of speck had white specks under the wrapping. The paper ingredient list was old falling apart paper. Have not eaten any because it may be bad. Never ever again-- these people cheat OLD CRIPPLED LADIES."

Good Products, Terrible Service

"Big problem: When you order, or at least when I did, you do not get an itemized summary by email. Almost unprecedented. When order arrived, I thought it was short an item. Tried to reach company. Website says best to email, usually answered in 24 hours. I'm still waiting for reply, 96 hours later. Forget calling. Line always busy. Some good news: The products I received were well packed and arrived in perfect shape, not always the case with foodstuffs."

BUYER BEWARE! CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOT GUARANTEED

"BUYER BEWARE! I spent several hundred dollars on an online order. They did not properly package a tin that held a large jar of Dijon mustard. Lid came off the can, the jar broke and mustard is everywhere. The company told me that nothing else should be effected and they would refund my money for the mustard, and give me 15% off. I asked them to pls send me a return label, have Fedex pickup this order when they replaced my order. The fact I also let them know was the mustard seeped through the cardboard box of parchment paper, and had also through the sack with the lentils.
They told me that I needed to bring the package to Fedex. So, now I told them to cancel the order, have Fedex pickup the box. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute any charges, plus I am going to go on every social media site I can to make sure this does not happen to another person. Worst Customer Service EVER! CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS NOT GUARANTEED AS WEBSITE STATES! I wish I had read reviews before ordering from them.

Hard to find products important from Italy at great prices!

"I stumbled upon Supermarket Italy by accident looking for Brioschi (Italian antacid). I was pleasantly surprised to find all types of hard to find products for italy at reasonable prices! Flat rate shipping made my entire order worthwhile. Im located not too far for their warehouse, so I received my order in 2 days! Would definitely order again!"

"Placed an order back in October (2 items). Took over 2 months to get one item, and that's because I requested it to be shipped. And 5 months later, after so many email inquiries, I was told they cannot ship the other item even after it is in stock. The website charges flat rate shipping, but they complained that it would cost them more to ship the second item. If they cannot support their flat rate shipping offer, they should not offer it at all. Customer service was also slow with their reply. I even got the same exact message, 3 weeks later after I asked for the status again. It was like they just copy and pasted "So sorry for the delay of your shipment. Yes, we finally we received the Crodino. The thing is the shipment weight is large to ship. The shipping department is trying to come up with a way to ship the rest of your order properly. I believe the order will ship in two or more shipments this week." So 3 weeks later I checked with them again, and got the same exact response.
