"After a long wait and many frustrating phone calls and emails, many of which went ignored by sunoptique.com, I finally received the eye glasses I had ordered from this retailer. This is by far one of the worst purchase experiences I have ever had. The customer service is barely existent within the company. I strongly recommend going with another option to order your glasses from, even if it means paying a little more. I am not the type of person to complain, much less write a review, but in this case I feel obligated to do my part to warn people that sunoptique.com is not one that you want to do business with. "

"Will never recommend or purchase anything from them again!!
1. "Honey" at customer service was beyond rude and definitely not helpful
2. Paid extra $ for expedited (2-4 days) shipping. By day 5, my order still hadn't shown up, which is when I was informed by the OWNER (Dan Peters) that they still needed to receive my frames from the manufacturer! When I expressed irritation that they failed to mention this important piece of info on their website, he rudely informed me that there is a separate link I should've clicked where the actual shipping times are calculated. First, the link to which he was referring was at the bottom of the order page and was not easily found as it was inserted on top of some other text, making it unable to be read; second, why would I look for additional shipping times when I had already chosen USPS Priority shipping, which is promised to be 2-4 days (my order was only for frames, NOT for lenses)?? Dan Peters also "informed" me that if I need my frames in a hurry, next time I should go to an optometrist. He gave me a refund, but never offered an apology for the crappy set-up of his website. What a bizarre, terrible experience that website was! Never again!!

"NEVER do business with this company! They are the worst people!
I bought a frame and it came all chipped up and full of scratches. I contacted them immediately and asked for another to be sent. They never responded for a few weeks so I sent another message since they never answer their phone! They finally said they would send another as soon as they got original back. A MONTH LATER they sent a frame with an email saying "your new frame is in perfect condition...". I thought 'great'! Days later, I opened the box (after a month wait) and there were no chips BUT there was a jewel missing right in plain sight!! AND the front of the frame is a different color than the temples!! (part white & part cream). So I take pics of the box and the frame just in case. I call them immediately and tell her this and she calls me a liar and said that the frame she sent was fine and that I am wanting to return an old frame. WTH??? I return frame to them and NEED a replacement ASAP (as I already paid for prescription lenses made for this frame) Then she calls and leaves a voicemail telling us we sent back a different frame than they sent and they will not replace it. What a criminal company. I have had better luck with FramesRx.com and best buy!!

"i will not recommend this place for anyone for only one reason i ordered a particular item from their site with particular specefications and they mailed me that i have to pay extra charge . after so many weeks i received the order but it was completely different from what i asked for . when i write to their customer service i recognized my mistake as they lied on me and claimed so many wrong things about the frame that i ordered. it was the toughest experience for me on the internet."

"Ordering from this place was a big mistake. I put my order on Thursday (the week before Christmas). Even though they were offering free shipping I paid extra to have my order delivered before Christmas. They only shipped my package after 6 days (the following Wednesday) and they used USPS so after calling USPS I got confirmation that the package won't be delivered on time for Christmas. I sent them several emails and left several voice mails but they never answered me. No costumer service at all.

UPDATE: I received my order the day before Christmas. Still, if you have a problem don't expect anybody to get back to your from Sunoptique to help you.

"Good price and good product. Overall I am satisfied.

My main disappointment was that there were problems with the website. They said that I ordered the wrong product and said that the correct product was a higher price. I was a little disappointed in that I had been shopping around and selected them in part based on price.

I realize that the website is just a mashup of data provided by manufacturers, but once I called attention to the problem they could fix it. The confusing information remains on the website.
