"While shopping on the internet, I came across Summit Sports and let me tell you they had the BEST prices -- no one even came remotely close to having the price they offered for the wakeboarding helmet we were looking for...even Ebay couldn't touch your prices! Shipping was quick, less than a week, and the product is just as described! Checkout was simple and quick! Overall just a great experience...would definitely shop with Summit Sports again! "

"i am reviewing about the website and my time and how i liked the website. so first off, i will talk about how easy it was to find what i needed and how organized the website was. the website had its on categories on the side but, i think to make somthing specific they should have more categories to look through. such as, by size, color, male or female, etc. next is the description and the views of each product. There wasn't a lot of description about each product but it was good enough. people should add more reviews because, for me i like to see how other people liked the iteam. over all this website is great but i would like to talk about some of the things i didnt like about this website. the things that i loved was the shiping how great the orices are and the quality of everything. there was not that many bad things so i would tell my friends to order from this place."

"Do not do business with this joke of a company. I placed an order with them for a snowboard on 12-5-09. I paid for express shipping to make sure that it was here before Christmas as it was supposed to be a gift. On 12-19-09 I realized that the snowboard hadn't arrived. I checked my account with SummitOnline and they didn't show anything in the order history. I became alarmed and thought that maybe the order hadn't gone through somehow so I checked my Paypal account and saw that I was charged for the snowboard the day I ordered it. I placed a call to customer service during the proper time listed on their website and received a recording asking me to leave a message. I E-mailed customer service and waited 24 hours for a response and received nothing. Their “customer service” did not even send a message saying that they got my message. I called customer service and talked to someone after waiting for approx. 10 minutes on hold. The agent told me that they only had one of the snowboards in stock that I had ordered and it had a scratch on it so they did not ship it. Huh??? She said that they had a note on my order that someone from their company had left a message on my cell phone on 12-14-09. I didn't get this message but even if I had this company waited 9 days to tell me about a problem with a snowboard that I had paid express shipping on. The agent offered to refund my money but could not give me a confirmation number. She said that I would get an E-mail with one. That conversation was over an hour ago and I have yet to get the E-mail and my Paypal account has not been credited. Avoid this company if you want to avoid a headache.

Update: 12-23-09 12:22 AM MST. Still no E-mail and my paypal has still not been credited. Any guesses what will happen when I call back? My guess is there will be no record of my previous call. I would give negative stars now if it was possible.

2nd update: I got an E-mail from: ****@**** that said: I do apologize in the delay with your shipment. At this point I do have the item ordered but there are a few light scratches on the board. For further information please contact customer service @ ***-***-****. Thanks, Nicole

3rd Update - Sent a message to the e-mail address last night(12-23-09)listed for this company on Paypal. It goes to snowboards.net so be cautioned that they are probably the same company. Got an E-mail this morning stating that the order was canceled and offered me a 10% coupon on my next purchase. I checked with Paypal and I have been refunded my money.

Here is the exact message as I'm copying and pasting. No apology from them. Just the implication that I'm stupid for ordering from this company and I'm afraid I have to agree.

"I ordered a new 2009 model year ski jacket and received a used 2008 model. The jacket showed wear and was obviously used.
Customer Service did a fine job with the return authorization and crediting my credit card. However,I had to wait over a half hour to talk to them.
I would rate them only a 2 out of 5. The product was shipped quickly and Customer Service was very helpful. But, there is no excuse for shipping a used coat.

"I am always skeptical when I try a new company out that I find on the internet. I was looking for a new pair of rollerblades but I wanted an older model so I did a random search on the internet and found Summit Online (which is the same company as Bargain Sports). I was hesitant to place an order online so I called and talked with a professional and nice guy. He helped me with a misprint on the website and placed an order for me. I received the skates and they were the size I ordered but they were too small. I returned them and ordered a different style and size with no trouble. I just received the exchanged pair and everything is great. Now as long as the charges go through appropriately on my credit card, I will be extremely satisfied. So far I have nothing negative to say. Every person I talked to was professional and helpful (I spoke with three people over the course of this transaction). I would happily order here again."

"Ordered a new product at Summit Online with 2-day shipping. I was given a bit of a run-around and told first that it was leaving the facility 2 days after ordering and was told I would get a call if it was delayed. I didn't receive a call, and called the next day and was told it would be delayed 1 more day (total 5 business days). Finally, I had to call for the 4th time for them to tell me they were out of stock. Overall, unreliable and lack of candid customer service."

"SummitOnline has great prices on some discount sporting goods. The selection could be a little better, but they are discount, so they only sell whatever discounted goods they get in.

As for my ordering process, everything was fast and smooth. Items were well package and were received more quickly than expected.
