"I brought my tickets and planned the trip a while ago but somehow the dates of the game changed and I was not notified of the changes. I only found out of the changes when I checked with the official soccer club website the night before. So I had to change all my travel and accommodation plans. I would appreciate if StubHub would inform me that the dates of the game had changed."

"Crap! Did not supply the ticket I ordered. Ticket was meant to be print at home but I did not receive any link to download it, then on the day of the event I was told print at home wasn't possible due to a technical problem, and to collect it at the box office. Arrived at the box office ninety minutes before the start of the event but was told ticket wasn't available and to come back in half an hour. Went back one hour later and was told ticket still wasn't available. Phoned customer service, spent nearly twenty minutes on hold and was then told the order had not been processed due to "a problem with the integration system" (whatever the f*** that means)! Was told to purchase another ticket at the box office and to submit proof of purchase in order to receive a refund. By the time I'd got another ticket and got in I missed the start of the event. Also, the only tickets available were for the rear of the venue when the ticket I'd originaly bought from SH was for the front blocks. Received an apology phone call on Monday with the offer of a twenty pound voucher (nb: it always makes me laugh how companies offer vouchers for future use when poor service means you are less likely to use their services again). Said I wasn't interested in a voucher and asked for the twenty pounds to be added to the refund-agent was unwilling or unable to do this. Told agent to process the refund minus the voucher and to close my account. To be fair I did receive the refund immediately but will not use Stubhub again if I can't trust them to deliver tickets as ordered."

"I collected my tickets 3 hours before the event, as advised to do on the website.
I went home to drop my car off and meet up with some friends, then turned up for the actual event about 30 minutes prior to it starting, hoping to have a drink inside the stadium beforehand… but found the tickets I had been given did not work, and would not allow me in through the automated turnstiles. I was the advised by a steward that I would need to go back to where I got them from and ask them to sort it out. So, I went back to the StubHub collection point, where I queued for 10 minutes, to be told they were unable to help, and I had to queue at the normal ticket office to have this sorted out... I then waited about 15 minutes in a queue there, where they replaced my duff tickets, albeit they quizzed me as to what happened, where I got the tickets from, and asked for some ID to prove who I was. I managed to get to my seat with about 2 minutes to spare, so fortunately did not miss anything, although this is due more to the fact I was actually 30 minutes early rather, and would otherwise have missed a large chunk of the event without any kind of apology from anyone.
Although I have heard good things about StubHub, my personal experience of them was very poor.

"My tickets to Franz Ferdinand were reprints and not valid at the door. Luckily the venue honored them anyway since the show was not sold out. But I was verbally scolded by the Round House manager for buying tickets from a secondary ticket broker such as Stubhub.I was advised by the veunue manager that my ticket was reprinted 12 times and many of the suckers like me had also tried to enter the concert. This is my first time using Stubhub UK and I have used the Stubhub USA site many times with no negative experiences. I will be reluctant to ever use the site again to be perfectly honest."

"Great service, received the tickets within a week of purchasing and they were exactly as advertised. Would recommend they make it mandatory for people to confirm seat locations (ie row and seats number) as other people selling tickets only advised of the seat row and not number. And the seats vary greatly."

"I order 2 tickets for queen of the stone age for seated halfway down the arena .. I received tickets for right at the back of the arena. I rang to complain and was asked if I wanted a refund, which would have been cool, however there were no tickets left on sale at that point. Customer services rang the seller and I was informed it was a genuine mistake that the seller advertised it wrong - as you can tell ... I wasn't happy , so the whole experience (1st time for me) of buying on here ... all I can say was " gutted , ruined my night".
I was offered a 20% refund.

"quite efficient but also quite outrageous fees for both buyers AND sellers make it quite prohibitive on most occasions.....bring back EBAY for ticketing so that you can buy easily right up to the day of an event"

"I had ordered tickets for Drake at the O2. The pickup location near the venue was perfect. I really liked that i didnt have to pickup in Central London and get off the tube. The show was great and I loved being able to pick my seats and price range based on what tickets were on site. "
