"The complete EDB files of 13 employees from our firm had become corrupt, had tried all the fixes available, but unfortunately, none of them were able to get the EDB files back in order.
Firstly tried repairing the EDBs through powershell commands but failed.Next, I tried repairing the EDB through ISInteg.exe, but that failed too. Thankfully I found this tool with the help of which I was able to recover all the data from the badly damaged EDB files. Moreover, their blogs and knowledgeable tech support were of great help to me as when I had a problem in one of the EDBs; the tech-support very calmly guided me to one of their blog posts which were quite helpful in recovering that mailbox.
All in all, I am quiet satisfied with Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Exchange Recovery Toolkit and would recommend anybody in a similar situation to try out this software.
I feel the software is on the steeper side in terms of price but I definitely feel it’s well worth it!!

"I purchased their Exchange Recovery software 6 months ago and have still been unable to use it. Th software is a download and must connect to their server to activate. I was not able to activate it. They do not issue refunds, even though their website clearly says you have a 30 day money back guarantee. They then claim that is only valid if their support is unable to offer you help. They do offer help in the form of emails that say their software is good and you must not being using it correctly. So I am out $399 for nothing. I would highly suggest you consider ANY other company to use instead of this one. And if you do need to use this company, read their hidden refund policy that they send to you after you ask for a refund.

"I downloaded one of their software packages and it did not work as intended. After getting additional instructions that were almost impossible to understand it still did not work. I asked for my money back several times in accordance with their refund policy and am still waiting. Buyer beware; this Indian based company DOES NOT honor their refund policy. Stay away. Plenty of other honorable software manufacturers out there; use one of them for your software needs."

After you spend hours downloading and testing, you discover it won't actually work until you pay them a price that is hidden until this stage in their game. This is known as "bait and switch" -- promising one thing and then, once you're hooked in, offering something entirely different. It is illegal in the United States. Their customer "support" replies to complaints by sending the same request for information over and over. I doubt they even read their complaints."

Have you ever purchased something from a store and as soon as you got into the parking lot, looked behind you and the doors slammed shut and the doors were locked?! That is the way i feel about this program. Not only does the program NOT work, trying to get in touch with any personnel about the problems i encountered with this program is worse than pulling teeth. First of all they have a great demo on their site which is a trial version that works really fast! However, the same program which is the paid version was nowhere near as fast or effective as the demo/ trial version. It took over 8 hours to scan a 8 GB flash drive thats a gig an hour! I purchased the pheonix/stellar program 7 years ago and thought that this newer version would work at least as good as the older version BUT, After purchasing the key to the demo we realized
the problem, we tested with the same 8 GB flash drive from the previous version against the new version and found it took 6 hours longer with less results. That prompted us to contact these people and cancel this product immediately. Also finding out that the newer version can only be installed on one computer,(which is useless to us) unlike the older version! I have been repairing computers for over 30 years, i have had my license since 2002. so there is nothing like hands on experience. When i contacted these people on the phone they veered off the subject of refusing/ cancelling the purchase based on these poor results. I have not accepted the software package in the mail and they still refuse to refund my money. They have been sending redundant emails evading the refund. I have read the other reviews and ended up purchasing that software Digiscope and it retrieved the same data in less than a hour perfectly, which led me to believe that the stellar program is the problem. This is where it gets "SCARY AND NASTY" I had to call my credit card co. and inform them of third party scammers from another country with my credit card info and to REVERSE PAYMENT ! And to date still no satisfaction. Im left with no money or no product, "THAT SUCKS". I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!"

"Hello everyone, I'm doing another review. Its been some time, but this time it is a negative review.. Lets get started!

Stellar Information Systems is running a HUGE SCAM! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! They're located in Gurgaon Haryana, India, so no surprise there. As we all know with demo programs is that they break the product until you buy it. Meaning it does not collect valid data until you purchase the product. I had a huge exchange database failure. I've read other reviews that Stellar systems was the way to go, so I bought the product without trying the demo first. Now, Since I had a major crash, I was extremely anxious to get my data back, so I purchased it. When I ran the product it it gave me an error message when I tried to load up my 6 gig public folders file. "File is severely corrupt or wrong server type selected". My jaw dropped, Oh my God, this does not work! What do I do now? I called tech support and they told me that I needed to send my database file to india via an FTP site. They claimed they would repair the corrupted database file. So the program does not fix corrupted files? What would be the point in buying a program that just reads a good database? Makes no sense.. This public folder has private company data, I'm not going to send it to india for data retrieval. Who knows what they would take and distribute... I downloaded another program, called Enstella which read the same public folder EDB database without a problem and Digiscope for my primary database. Both programs (Enstella and Digiscope) work great. By doing this, ensures me that Stellar systems program is the problem. I called asked them for a refund, which was denied. They put me on hold, where I was hung up on. I called back 3 to 4 times to finally get someone again. They are completely aware that it does not work, however refuse to refund me my $414 for the product. We've had numerous e-mail's back and forth. This is the e-mail they sent to me:

This is what we call a scam. Make a nice website, make it look professional, make a believable installable program, that fails when you actually load up the database for recovery. CLEVER!

So, I rate this company 0 out of 10, for lack of program support and refund. I would never recommend this company for anything.. Stay away!

UPDATE: 1-23-2012: They just called me stating they will refund my money ONLY if I remove this review... Apparently this review was read by the Seniors.. (LOL) All they had to do was refund my money and this review would never have been written...I told them to refund me first, then I'll change my review... That's how it works in the USA! "
