"I have never liked to shop at Stage but we don't have much choice here"

"I rarely ever do these surveys, but I just couldn’t believe how unfriendly these associates were when being checked out. First I went up to the lady that was at the register, she didn’t say anything to me, but looked at another associate sitting there. That girl got up and told me to go to the other side. Very unfriendly, gave her cash with change, which she didn’t even grab my change.. then as she was putting cash in register, I asked if she was going to take the change, her reply was “no”. I realize she didn’t see it, but she could have apologized for her simple mistake. Then after transaction was complete she handed me bag that was that. I said “thank you” and got nothing in reply. She never smiled, made any sort of conversation, ask if I found anything etc. Name on my receipt says Emily. It’s not hard to simply be nice, just saying."
