It's as bad as everyone says it is!

"Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced in my lifetime. Bought a $400 camera that had no reset button on it. When I forgot my username and password I couldn't log back into the camera. I called the manufacturer of the camera and they were happy to install a reset button on my camera but said that it had to be mailed from the company that sold it to me. This is where the problems began. Spytecinc never really ever understood my problem. My initial calls with them indicated that all I had to do was submit an RMA to send the camera to them and then they would send it on to the manufacturer of the camera. But then somebody in customer service got involved and from that point on I got nowhere. All they did was send me emails saying it's not under warranty. Unbelievable that I spent $400 on a camera where it was missing a reset button and they wouldn't help me by sending it on to the manufacturer to get it fixed. Horrible horrible people."

"This has to be the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. If I could give them zero stars, I would. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. I ordered a product, spoke to them on chat and by phone, and was told that, without a doubt, the product would be shipped that afternoon and arrive the next day, considering I was paying more than $30 for the overnight shipping. Well, they never shipped the product. I called asking where it was and why I didn't get tracking info. I was told "we think it might be out of stock." After excessive complaining on my part, they suddenly locate the product in their warehouse. They tell me, without a doubt, they'll ship it today -- a Friday -- and without a doubt, I'll receive it tomorrow -- Saturday. They'll pay the shipping costs. I instructed "David," the customer service rep that they must pay extra for Saturday delivery. He informs me he knows how it works and it'll be sent overnight. "I don't know how many more ways I could tell you that it will arrive tomorrow," he tells me. Well, no tracking number arrives. So I call, at 6:20, and after 30 minutes on hold I'm sent to voicemail. They close at 6:30, and I'm told by chat support that everyone has gone home. Chat accesses the tracking number...which advises me they did WeekDAY delivery and it won't arrive in time. So, now I'm forced to order through a different company at double the cost to get the product when I need it. Again, AVOID THIS COMPANY. You'll get royally screwed like I did, and I'm sure like so many others before me. I'd advise Google to remove them as a "trusted" retailer."

"worst handling of return/replace defective item I have ever been a part of.
1.no communication
2.long wait times for processing returns/refunds.
3.no immediate responses to emails or calls.
4.slow to remedy any situations if they involve faulty equipment or items.
I bought directly from vendor thinking the experience would be a standard hassel free experience. boy was I wrong. I normally bought from Amazon, because of their superb customer service and problem free return/refund/replacement policies. this experience with spytec has been the worst experience of my life dealing with online purchases. that is saying a lot being that I have dealt with the worst like Time Warner.
I have given them ample time to communicate with me on the status of this process and they have failed at every opportunity to make this a smooth transaction.
BUYERS BEWARE. DO NOT OVERLOOK THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON COMPANY SITE. I UNDERSTAND A GOOD PERCENATAGE OF THEM ARE BOGUS, BUT BEING THAT I HAVE IN GOOD FAITH TRIED TO BE AS PATIENT AS POSSIBLE THROUGHOUT THIS ORDEAL, THE OUTCOME WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TO DEAL WITH. I DEFINITELY SUGGEST AND ADVISE PURCHASING WITH A MORE REPUTABLE VENDOR/DEALER. THE COST OF BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE JUST IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

"I wish I would have used due diligence in researching this company before I placed an order. Mislead on camera I was purchasing. Description given was totally inaccurate. When I emailed customer service I received one reply asking for order I'd which I provided. Then I had to email again. They said they'd emailed me. I checked all folders. They did not. They promptly told me it was out of warranty. Rude, misleading. Buyer beware!!"

"Item not related to what's pictured on the website (no Philips logo, cheap plastic construction, poor video quality. Device recognized the SD card and the thumb drive for picture display, however it totally failed to record video since the video programmer/remote would not recognize either drive. Return process was painful, with $ 30 net loss (I was stupid enough to request expedited shipping). Since the item was defective, the merchant should pay the shipping, too. I will never buy anything from these merchants."
