"I ordered 2 different items, order was placed on a Friday Afternoon. I received an email the 31st that my order was shipped tracking number and everything. My shipment was on the doorstep by Friday. The packaged only had one item inside. They do not have a phone number to call but must use there onsite email service. I asked for the tracking number for my other package. Monday I got a reply stating they refunded my money for the second item. Not what I asked for at all. I would have waited for the item to come back in stock.

I did not get notified the item was out of stock until after I asked for tracking numbers a week later! The website said order was shipped and then complete!

"Horrible. I ordered a mil spec buffer tube, and paid for 2 day shipping. Took 2 days alone for them to even send the thing from their warehouse, and they didn't include the castle nut that is supposed to be, and listed as, part of the package. Still waiting on their customer service to get back with me, and they don't even bother answering their phones. Don't waste your time or money."

"I just completed my order for 20 ammo boxes
on your website. I did so only after some time
on the internet searching for the lowest price
and reasonable shipping costs for exactly what
I wanted.

Finding what I wanted was easy, although there
were many others available, many websites had
similar but wrong color, size, brand, etc, etc.

Also, there were many that had the right product,
but wanted a fortune for the boxes OR they made
a high profit off of the shipping. That particularly
irritates me, as well as many shooters I personally
know. That is a very quick way to loose costumers.

Keep up the good work with good prices, low
shipping costs and quick customer service.
So far, you're the best.

"I ordered a scope as a Christmas present on 12/5. 9 days later it was cancelled. I tried to call and email but was never able to get any response. I couldn't even get into my account. I was pretty sure the entire company was fake and called my credit card company but there was no charge. They may not have ripped me off but they did leave me hanging right before Christmas and a bad taste in my mouth."

"I ordered two magazines for my xd 40 on the 9th of November and paid extra for two day Fed Ex shipping. Three days later (Nov 12) having received nothing at all regarding my order, I emailed the company using a form on their web site (there is no phone number to call). I got no response that day so I called my credit card company and the card had not yet been charged so I assumed that something had gone wrong and the order had not been successful. On Monday morning November 14, five days after placing my order with Sportsman’s Depot, I ordered two magazines from a different vendor and received an order confirmation within minutes. Later that Monday I got an email from Sportsman’s Depot indicating that my order had suddenly been “updated” and that it had now been shipped. Fifteen minutes after that I got an email from Bill Jorgensen at Sportsman’s Depot (apparently in reply to the email I had sent on the 12th) with the words “Someone submitted the form from Sportsman’s depot contact form page” in the subject line and not another word in the email. The magazines finally arrived two day later by regular mail. I don’t know if they are made by Springfield Armory or not but they work fine so I decided to keep them for my practice bag. Bottom line, don’t order from Sportsman’s Depot unless you don’t mind being in the dark about your order and certainly don’t pay anything extra for shipping. You will get it when you get it. If you get it."

"Customer Service is great. They actually read comments and even respond fast to each comment via email, with if needed, ways to correct a bad experience.
Wide selection of items is a plus and membership is actually worth the cost. Discounts, 4 easy payment plans and frequent catalog mailing's.
Although some few items turn out to be "less than hoped for" in quality, the customer service dept. has made up for this one downside as best as I have ever seen in any company.
I would and have recommended this company to several others and there experience has been as good as mine.
