Everything was good until...

"The coupon code worked. The shipping was quick and the accuracy of the prescription was correct. The pros stop there. The problem was...I paid for the premium lens, with their blue light anti-glare coating, but what I received was barely anti-reflective. I can assure you they did add it, but it was very dull to the point that it was almost ineffective. When using the anti-reflective test against the monitor screen, you can't really see the reflection. I recently bought a pair from another online merchant, and it was not only cheaper, but the anti-glare was much better."

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!!!!!

"I cannot believe that these people are in business. They are a total scam. The glasses that I received are a complete joke and they will not give me refund. They gave me the run around every time I contacted them. I will not stop until I get a FULL REFUND!!! DO NOT spend your hard earned money on any of their products. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They should be ashamed of themselves.
(For some reason I can’t change the customer service rating to AWFUL, but they definitely do not deserve 5 stars for customer service. They deserve NEGATIVE 5 stars!!!)

"Horrible, awful people with no sense of customer service. I purchased items from Speert through Amazon and needed to return them. Their policy on Amazon does not mention a time frame so I inquired with Speert after filing the return. The rep told me I could return the items and forwarded a copy of the return policy as posted on Amazon, so I was not worried that I had them for longer than a month.

I returned them and Speert refuses to refund my purchase because the return policy on their own website says there is a time limit of thirty days. I have even gone so far as to send them screenshots and the URL to the policy at Amazon, and sent back the email from the company rep to show the return was approved -- and they have accused me of editing the document to make it read in my favor. Really? Even the URL?

As far as I am concerned, I purchased the glasses through Amazon and am bound by the policy at Amazon. They now have the glasses to sell again and make a profit on twice as they are not refunding any of the money to me.

Misleading and lying to consumers is an ugly, immoral practice.

"I have purchased glasses from Speert on three separate occasions. I usually order 5 pairs of glasses each time I place an order. My vision has been declining rapidly over the past 10 years, so my magnification needs have frequently increased. I am thrilled with Speert. I wear very strong reading glasses (+4.5 or +5.0 diopters depending on the level of ambient light in the room). I am able to buy excellent glasses at very reasonable prices at Speert. I can actually see print better with the reading glasses I bought at Speert than with the prescription glasses I had made locally. It may have had something to do with the fact that the prescription glasses were bifocals, but I find the quality of the lenses in the glasses I buy from Speert to be wonderful. I am a completely satisfied customer."

"I ordered glasses and entered my prescription, filling in all the empty blanks. When I received them, the reading and mid-distance prescriptions were set at the very bottom of the lenses; in order to see the computer screen I had to tip my head way, way back. I stopped by the Walmart Vision Center for advice, and the lady measured the glasses and said I should contact them and say the "seg height" should be 26. (I had never heard of "seg height" before. There was no blank in the online form to enter it.) But I phoned Speert and they said they wouldn't do anything. They said it was my fault that the prescription didn't list the "seg height." Sorry I spent $250 on glasses I can't use. "

"Speert is a great store for purchasing readers and other type of glasses.

When I ordered, I accidentally ordered the wrong ones, and the customer support team at Speert traded them out for the correct ones, no questions asked. Shipping was fast, and they were very well packaged.

I personally have about 50 or more pairs of readers in my collection, but it's the ones that I purchased from Speert that I wear the most. They are lightweight and feel great, so I highly recommend Speert and their glasses to others, and I'll certainly continue to buy from them myself.
