"I also left a review under charter cable because they are the same company and now go by charter spectrum.
They falsely advertised to me internet service of 400/30 (400 download and 30 upload speed). However, after they installed it, i noticed that the speeds are nowhere near what they promised. This was especially true on the upload speed which never went over 17mbs. After working with three technicians and the customers service line, they all confirmed that only 400/20 was available and that 400/30 was never a legitimate offering. When I asked the sales rep for help, she was nasty and rude and basically said too bad. They said I can cancel the service and go elsewhere but they charged me $50 installation fee also which they will not refund.
The sales rep said her director and company instructed her to sell 400/30. So they know they are lying but don't care. They are shady and cannot be trusted. "
"I ordered accesories for my cell phone. Prices were extremely reasonable. Charge applied to my credit card on April 2, 2003. Received email from seller verifying order, listing number to call if merchandise not received in 14 days. I was impressed and referred several friends - we all live in same area and have same cell phones provided by same service and accesoreis are difficult to find in the rural area we live in.
Order was not received by April 16 so I calledand I was told the items shipped on April 7 give it 14 days. Items still not received on April 22 so I called again. Told they were reshipping order. Order arrived on April 26 - only two of five items that were ordered. Called again on April 28 and was told other items they no longer carried. They would credit my charge card. Charged 7.50 for shipping - shipping label on products received total 1.29!! Very unsatisfactory service. Would not recommend them to anyone. Friends are cancelling any orders they may have placed and we are looking for another provider for accesorries."
