"Ordered a fair few times from Specialtech, always an A+ service its refreshing to see a company with such a down to earth attitude and is willing to just have a chat to discuss things, most avoid this now due to expenses but ST is filled with excellent staff. This order was for a lamptron fc5v2 fan controller, Ayd said they didnt know if it could indeed handle a 18w ddc pump and said to me to try it and let him know how i get on, if it does break he will refund me just to simply help ST know if the fan controller was suitable. Well over a year old now and its still rocking solid with 2 pumps!.

Oh and everything arrives extremely quick and if there ever is an issue, like wrong item (happened ONCE, genuine mistake on compression fittings :P) its sorted ASAP, much quicker than other companies and it was Free return. I dont mind issues arising as it really shows the companies true colours and im glad that ST has kept true to their image, solid stuff guys.

Will be buying again in the future when i get monies :D. Oh and the prices are generally solid, few times ive found it cheaper elsewhere and simply popped on their forums and seen if anyones on and alot of the time their is, dropped them a question regarding pricing and 9 times out of 10 they can do their best with matching it, love it when a company goes out of their way to try and get your custom!"

After 20 or so years of buying parts from various PC companies,SpecialTech is certainly the best one I have dealt with.
Friendly staff who actually know the products they sell, these guys are not boxshifters who take your money then don't give a hoot about aftersales service.
They are also excellent at sorting out any problems you might have, I've only had to send one item which was faulty back for replacement, and this was handled very quickly, in fact within 2 days, unlike another company which took 5 weeks :(

"Specialtech are THE best place to go in the UK for your watercooling equipment. They have their own stock and do not have to order stuff in unlike a lot of other watercooling retailers.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and are into watercooling themselves so they do not only sell the products they also have experience and knowledge of using them. They will also answer any questions you have regarding products and even advise you on how to go about watercooling your PC on their forums which several members of staff are active on.

I have only ever ordered twice from Specialtech but both times my orders have been dispatched within a couple of hours of placing the order and I have received my order by 12pm the following day.

"My experience from Specialtech is nothing less than EXCELLENT.

In Specialtech i found components for my watercooling loop, i was not able to find in the rest of Europe. But this is not the only thing that impressed me...

Starting from the order of quite a few watercooling parts including 2 Koolance D5 pumps that were not available at the time, i got immediate reply to my email giving me immediate solution! While many shops lack of flexibility when ordering and rely only on their auto-ordering system, here things differ in a great way. Eventhough they have an excellent automatic ordering processing procedure, if you need something extra (not avail at the time) they are there to help you. Placing /processing /completing the order was easy, fast and flexible.

The best comes when my order package arrived here in Greece.
Somehow, the local courier managed to partially damage the box containing my order that also included watercooling liquid. Eventhough most of my order was intact, I was not sure about the condition of the liquid. Of course the local courier immediately accepted his fault and told me to start a rather time consuming procedure returning the entire order. Here comes specialtech support... Efficiently and with zero delay, they proposed to send me again the liquid i worried about, eventhough it was not their fault, at zero cost.  

Personal assistance, support and feedback was available  in any phase of my order not only via email but also by phone. From ordering phase down to support phase, Specialtech is a high quality - customer minded company!"

"Update 29th August 2012: after spending thousands of pounds with them, the service was initially good, they bent over backwards to gain your custom. However things then deteriorated; frequently sent the wrong items, sent items that were visibly and clearly marked; sent items previously returned by other customers, and admitting to it, and not in their original packaging and expecting you to accept them; being overcharged for postage and only refunded after telephoning; constantly having to telephone for refunds not processed despite assurances they would be; trying to get you to pay for postage when they've sent the wrong items; and taking exception to the fact that a customer does not want to pay for fittings that are meant to be black but are badly scratched with the brass clearly visible underneath.
Their service in all of these situations has been mechanical rhetoric, accompanied by a clear insincerity in their attitude and actions to put things right without further mistakes and poor service. One one occasion twice sent the wrong items despite telephone calls.

In all of this there is the mounting cost of telephone calls.

In the latest and final incident, I've had to go to my credit card company to get my money back.

All online retailers make mistakes, but this is the worst I've experienced by far. There are better companies out there who offer much better customer service. "
