"I ordered a refurbished ReplayTV 5040 with Lifetime Service Activation on a Saturday from a link on techbargains.com. On Sunday, there was an update to the link that offered an additional 15% off. So, I figured I would cancel the order and re-order with the 15% discount. I call to cancel the order on Sunday, but I get an automated attendant that tells me they are only open on Monday-Friday. I call Monday and am informed that their computer system is down. I call Tuesday and am informed that an order can only be cancelled within 24 hours of the order. The email I received after the order states "Provided that your order has not already entered the shipping process, we can modify or cancel your existing order." It also says nothing about a 24-hour cancellation policy. The customer support people I talked to told me that once the product ships, I will have to take delivery and then get an RMA number to return it. What a joke. Needless to say, they wouldn't honor the 15% discount either. Replay TV may be a really cool product, but I will never experience it or any other product from this company. My credit card company told me to just refuse the order and they will dispute the charges, so it's highly unlikely I'll be out anything. It's just an aggravation and a huge disappointment. Companies that treat customers like crap usually don't stay in business, so my recommendation is to stay far away from SonicBlue or you'll be feeling blue and ultimately losing green. "

"I have to admit, I was a bit concerned when I read the above post. I ordered a referbished MP3 player. It did take a few days, but they did process my order. I got it in about 7 days. And it works fine. Only problem, it was suppose to come with a rechargeable battery, but I got a regular battery. But I already have a few of them the same size, and it plays fine so what the heck. I'm happy."

"They have horribly slow order processing, on the 24th I ordered a CD player from them and it is now the 29th, 2&1/2 business days later. When i check my order it still says order processing so i shot off an email to customer support about this and the website says that i can expect an email in no more then 24 hours and it has been 24 hours already and i see noting. My order still says "Waiting to be processed..." after 2&1/2 business days which is far too long. My order was in-stock at the time of ordering and is still in-stock now so it being out of stock couldn't be the problem.

I'll update this after it ships so i can say how fast their shipping is and how well they package things.
