"What a poor service this is! I cannot stress enough to order from this site! No communication at all! I ordered my shoes, and they took my money. Over 1 month had passed, and my order was still 'processing', after numerous unanswered emails I filed a complaint with paypal. The phone number for the website is false, no answer, and no message. Paypal reversed my charges immediatly after no answers to any of their claims also. The shoes arrived un-announced almost 2 months after ordering... as soon as they showed up, solecrafters filed a claim through paypal for the money back! LOL! The first time any of us had heard from them. I was pretty sure this was a fraud website... I would never think of recomending anyone pay them a dime. I hope I have helped. DON"T DO IT!"
"I am based in Australia and ordered a pair of size 5, Doc Martens online from Solecrafters. Whilst my initial sales and size query was answered promptly, once the order was submitted, my email queries on when the shoe would be shipped went unanswered.
The parcel arrived on 8 October. Although the label on the shoe says it is 3 UK, 36 EU, 4 US M, 5 US L, the shoe looks to me a US 6 and is one size too large. I emailed Solecrafters on this issue and to date have not yet received any response.
Prior to the arrival of the boots I had earmarked a couple more pairs of Doc Martens on their website. However, after this disappointing experience, I will not be doing business with them again.
Footnote: 12 Oct: After this review was posted, I got a reply email from solecrafters asking me if I would like to return the shoes. Not expecting any response from them, I had already worn the shoes.
Note that the shoes are not made in UK and are not of the same quality. Mine was made in China and the leather is very inferior. "
