"!!! Illegal software !!!
I ordered windows professional 7 64 bit and MSoffice 2010 professional 9/1/2014. The instructions were a bit complicated but I was able get it done. I installed both products on a newly built computer. No issues with the install.
Then on 6/11/2015 (9 months after the purchase) I get a black screen and a message that windows 7 is not a genuine copy! Fortunately, I had an OEM copy of win 7 on my old computer that I wasn't using and I was able to get Microsoft to validate that for this installation. But Microsoft said that the validation of this copy was blocked because too many people had used the license. Apparently, the license was a site license to be used by a corporation for all their computers. Such licenses are purchased by corporations for a specific number of installations. These are not retail licenses and cannot be sold. I suppose it is possible that Software Supply Source purchased such a volume license and then sold them. Maybe they sold too many or maybe the way they deliver the produce made it easy for people to use it on more than one computer and the non-purchased license usage occurred on the user end. However, the fact still remains, the licenses that Software Supply Source was selling, were not for retail sales.
There may be a fine line here, but to suck me into such a scheme is fraud and I wish the FBI would pursue this.

"I, too, was scammed by this company - wish I could have also seen these reviews before I purchased. I was hard up for cash so thought this was a good deal. NOT So ! I had to d/o it, but was too complicated for me to even begin to install; so I had to call the one good expensive computer guy I know and even he did not know how to install it. I paid a fortune and could have bought a new Dell or HP computer w/7 in it for same price. And to add salt to the wounds: yesterday - black screen w/the message that my win 7 is not genuine. So called Microsoft, Jason looked over my computer, I gave him all the nos. from the invoices form Software Supply and he told me those were for Win 7 Enterprise, not for my Win 7 Professional that I ended up with AFTER the usual congrats - etc. nonsense that instead of the Win 7 Premiun I ordered. they upgraded me for no extra cost. I am a senior w/low fixed income and did not need this one bit. Now I have to spend more money to get Win 7 for real from a reliable place I have been using for years - not about to go to Win 8.... - I tried to go to the website and the domain is no longer in existence. I did more searching online and it looks like someone is operating out of their home- low assets, very poor income. So not surprised if they no longer exist. "

"I am fairly certain they used to be TechSupplyKing.com.
I downloaded a copy of windows 7 from that company about 9 months ago and installed it on my brother in laws comp. I had to jump through a few hoops to install it; I think I ended up putting it on a usb stick after downloading some utility to 'burn' it to the usb. Wish my memory was better and I could be more help. Anyway, it did work finally, but you have to know your way around computers.

BUT BUT BUT: just yesterday there was a message from microsoft$ that the copy of windows was counterfeit. I called MS$$$, and after about 30 minutes of waiting and talking to 3 different people they verified that it was INDEED COUNTERFEIT. $ms$ also said that there were no new win 7 product keys available; as we know they are pushing their windows 8 which many people, including me, despise. In any case, my 75 year old bro in law could never learn windows 8.

Anyway, I asked "George" on chat if his company used to be 'Techsupplyking.com' He did not deny it, and asked me for my order number from tech supply, which fortunately I still had from 9 months ago. He told me to log into http://www.softwaresupporthub.com/dashboard.php and grab my new product (activation) key. I haven't tried it yet, it had better work or this company will be badmouthed all over the net!

So at least they tried to fix their illegal shenanigans, so I will give them two stars, though they lied or were mistaken when they told me under techsupplyking they were legal. Let us hope they are legal now under softwaresupplysource / softwaresupporthub.
NO wonder they sold windows so cheap!

"I must admit that I decided NOT to purchase from this vendor multiple times before I realized that there was just no better price available. I decided to take the chance (reviews are not favorable and some of their policies, including having to get a confirmation phone call seemed sketchy). I must say that my experience was smooth and easy. They called me in the middle of the night (because that is when I ordered and I asked for an immediate call back) and it did only take 15 seconds as promised. They provide idiot proof download and install instructions, sending the files as .rar files to speed download times. They walk you through how to handle this type of file, including screen shots. The install went without a hitch and the registration code was accepted without a hiccup. I simply don't know why so many people had problems with them (and no, I don't work or write for them) unless they are software illiterate. I must confess that the only thing I still wonder about is why I didn't just get a link to the Microsoft download site to obtain my software."

"BEWARE!!! I wished I'd seen these reviews before I purchased from this dealer. I had a bad feeling something was wrong with this site and should have followed my feelings. I wonder if the positive ratings posted are bogus on this site? Here my story!*I wanted software in a retail package sent to me. I checked my options and ordered Window 7 Pro 32 bit retail because it didn't say it was a download. I thought the check out seemed questionable when it said there would be a 15 second verification call for the activation number. It wasn't until final check out that it mentioned that it was a download. I promptly contacted support hub. The conversation follows: Please wait for a site operator to respond.*You are now chatting with 'George'*George: Hello and welcome to Software Support Hub! My name is George and I am your software specialist. What questions can I help you answer today?*ME: I just ordered Window 7 Pro and I thought it was a hard copy. How do I cancel this order. I do not want a download.*George: you may create a bootable dvd from the download version too*ME: I wanted the retail version in a package not a download.*George: okay.. but you can create a dvd of it.. it will exactly work like the product that you ordered*ME: Will you send me a physical Serial Number and COA for my records?*George: Since Microsoft started releasing all of their titles electronically, that are available through download, they have started to move away from the COAs. Now all that is required to register the end user with Microsoft is the license key. At the end of the installation process, the user will insert the license key and activate it online. Once this is complete, your software will become Genuine and will allow you to receive all future Microsoft updates*ME: I would prefer to have Microsoft product in the factory package.*George: okay.. ME you may request for a dvd in morning around 11 am EST Currently the dvd versions are out of stock*George: but you may request for one in morning*ME: Please cancel my order and credit my account.*George: but why you would like to cancel your order?*ME: Because the description did not say download and I want to cancel my order.*George: we will send it to you with in 4 to 5 days*ME: Thank you.*George: Is there anything else I may help you with today?*ME: No*George: you're welcome.* I then sent emails to ****@**** telling them I was disappointed with product description and the time it would take to refund money and please do not call with the activation code, I do not want to be accused of stealing your software and please delete my account from your company. Later I received calls and emails to activate my product. Up to this point I hadn't received an email from them until I sent email stating: I canceled my CC and will dispute the charges!*THE SAGA CONTINUES*Dylan: I'm trying to call you to discuss the problem you were having with your order. What is the best number to reach you at?*ME: There is nothing to discuss. I sent emails to cancel order.* Dylan: Whats the reason you are looking to cancel the order? We did not bill you as our system was aware of the backorder. Your order will only be processed once the discs are available to you. Please let me know where the confusion lies.*ME: My credit card company called me this morning and questioned me about the transaction. I did not order a download for the software and to receive a activation number over the telephone. So your site information for the product was wrong. It didn't show it was a download until the last check out stage and I couldn't cancel. Then talking to George with your support he wanted me to go ahead and download the software plus when I questioned him further he said there is no discs and they are back ordered supposedly. So with this questionable service I canceled my order.* Dylan: Not sure how you feel it was questionable service. You came to our website outside of normal business hours. For starters, since we have agents available 24/7, you think that would show you how we actually have excellent customer service. Most online companies only have customer service available via email. All George was explaining to you was that the media was actually in your account and available as a download. He then asked if you needed any assistance. George also mentioned how we can have a disc created and sent to you. This isn't questionable service at all. For no reason at all you became angry about this order and immediately questioned the integrity of our company for no logical reasons. Everything that "caused questions" for you, was in my opinion excellent customer service. I guess you can't win them all though. I have removed your pending order. Good luck on your quest for Windows 7 along with the melancholiness attitude that accompanies you.*ME: Good business men do not argue with customers. I will know from now on not to go on your site! Thank You for the Lesson! "

"no no no no no. i can't believe avast used this website as a recommendation (they will here from me). this is got to be one of the worse experience i have had with a online company. PLEASE do yourself a favor and read the other bad reviews because they are correct. i ordered a very specific product windows 7 sp1 64bit key and they gave me a free upgrade to windows 7 professional. i didn't order windows 7 professional. i contacted the online tech because the phone system didn't work and he told me there was nothing they could do pretty much telling me i was screwed. so on top of that they need to call you for verification of your purchase which wasn't a problem but within 5 minutes i get an email saying they tried to contact me but i didn't pick up? i gave them the correct number and no call made it to my phone. so i replied to there email threatening them for the correct product or a refund or ill go to my bank which i ended up doing to stop the purchase. the next day i never received a response so i contacted the tech support again because i could no longer even get the free upgraded windows 7 professional and they told me i was refunded which it took awhile but i looks that i did indeed get my money back. what a hassle. i DO NOT recommend this company "

"I have just encountered SoftwareSupplySource's financial procedure of double charging on an order. This came as a big surprise (since it is not publicized in the web site information)! This is my first encounter of such an action in my 50+ years of using my credit cards around the world. I find this procedure totally unlawful and should be discontinued immediately. Such a procedure should be abolished by the proper law authorities. Hence forth I will take my business elsewhere. "

"Bad experience. This company is weird. They charged my credit card twice and the customer service guy told me that they did that "to verify the funds are avaialble"

Then he said "the bank will release the funds to you in 24-48 hours, thats basic procedure for credit card transactions"

"I was a little skeptical about ordering from this company, ordering was pretty straight forward but you should be aware they use non-US based credit card processing. Their live chat person said Canada, but no way to know for sure. But expect a call or text from your credit card company stating there was an International charge on your card. Secondly they did a pre-authorization charge when I placed the order and it showed up on my CC as what looks like a Chinese company, then a second charge from another company called American Software Deals.
There is a lot more to the story, but Software Supply Source seems on the up and up but they need to work on getting a better way of processing credit cards that doesn't look so shady.

"This company is absolutely horrible, horrible. I purchased windows 7 professional and the tech support screwed up my compute as it will not even start up. The tech support George, Emily, and Jasmine beware! the Microsoft key was not working on the software either and didn't have the chance to see if it would work. After 2 days I spoke to Chett Balmoral who said he was the manager. He was very insulting and horrible, told me I was a nut case. I called my bank to receive a refund.....Watch out for this substandard company. You will also get charged extra fees because the company is in Canada. This is not disclosed either."

"Product was advertised as a Product Key Card for Office 2010 Pro. I was called to confirm my order for downloading Office 2013 Pro. Unless software is downloaded directly from Microsoft, there is no way to know if the product is authentic without a Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity. No Product Key Card, no thanks. At least they said I wouldn't be charged."
