A scam and the seller or customer service is annoyingly patronizing

"I repeat a scam. I ordered 2 pairs of socks which were pretty expensive and due to that I didn't want to insure them. Well, their policy said if you don't there is nothing they can do if they are lost or stolen. Well, I thought that's okay. These socks can fit in my neighborhood locked P.O. box. I have ordered socks before and other small stuff with no issues. Yet, somehow they don't arrive and when I email this in, customer service, is no help at all but what should be mentioned is sites like Amazon which I feel a need to compare to this terrible website with awful customer service is they automatically try to see what went wrong through the postal service or refund you because yes, in fact, one should not be obligated to pay when one did not get the item one set out to buy. A business transaction can only be counted if both parties received the items in other words, the seller, the money and the buyer, a product. They got the money, I got nothing. But what **** me off is that after comprehending that they wouldn't help me in the first email they continued to go on a roll about useless stuff where they were just being condescending to me. It was sickening and I was quite understanding that I was going to be at a loss. Made me see that I should just have stayed with Amazon. But overall, I am pretty sure they scammed me because they seemed to want to make that extra $1 to insure the sock shipments. And if you didn't, well, they wouldn't be obligated to refund you or anything. And I knew this but getting socks shipped to me should have brought up no issues such as them getting lost or stolen. I can't prove anything but it seems awfully suspicious. If not they wouldn't later restate this to me when I had to contact them or get all patronizing and actually proceed to bombard me with a lot of follow-up emails. While I actually placed an order with them in February/March 2016 (last year) and was thinking of not placing a review. I rethought it. I can't get over the horrible shopping experience and maybe my review can help someone. Don't believe it. I was fooled because I happened to watch a Youtube review. Which goes to show you can't trust Youtube reviewers."

"I was looking for long gloves without the finger tips (usually called 'fingerless' but sometimes you get open-ended gloves then, kind like a leg warmer for your arms) and Sock Dreams was the only place that had them how I needed and in a color my wife would like, not to mention the pricing was very reasonable as well.

Order was placed on a Wednesday and got it Saturday via Priority Mail (which was reasonably priced as well). Very quick and painless!

My wife likes a lot of what they have, when she orders from them I won't have a problem with it at all, unless she spends hundreds.
