"BEWARE!!!!!!

Purchased a 4-port USB hub w/ LED fan but never got it. Credit card was billed but I never received the product. I called and asked from them to return my phone call but never got a call back. Emails not returned - FRAUD!!

"I purchased a Lian Li 75B computer case with customizing work to be done by this company in Feburary of last year (2005) After many problems and excuses, I did recieve a Lian Li 75B computer case in October 2005, with no customizing work done to it. I was told that my computer case was accidently ship to someone else and that person must have returned the wrong case and no one had bothered to look at the case returned before shipping it to me to insure that it was indeed my case. I was promised a corrected case so I waited for that. After several promises of comuter cases just finished, I decided to make do with the case I had. I then, in January 2006, requested a refund for the customizing work that had not been completed that I paid for ($189.00). I was then told that I was intitled to a refund and a customized case for my trouble. At the beginning of Feburary, Dave from shipping told me that my refund would show up "in 3-4 days". By the middle of Feburary still no refund. I contacted Robert at this time and he said that he need to check with Dave to see where the refund was at. At this moment I only want a refund of money that is owed to me for work promised but never delivered. "

"Do not order from these ppl, they will rob you blind. I ordered a fan controller from them, when It showed up it was the wrong one. Chris said return it and we'll send you the right one. After repeated e-mails with no luck I tried to call again, now the phones there do not work- gee what a suprize....... they have there product back and my money. It's ppl like this that give the rest of the sites a bad name. Please ppl do not do any business with this company- there trash. "

"WARNING - Do not purchase from this store. I highly believe they are scammers. I made a purchase on January 16th 2006 and requested overnight fed x delievery. I tried to call them on January 19th when order still was not delivered and found they blocked all incoming calls on their phone system. I then sent them an emial asking about the order and they did not reply. I sent them several more emails and all of them were ignored. I called my CC company (American Express) to complain and once i told them the company name, they acknowledged several complaints with So-Trick and imeadiately reimbursed my account including the overnight delievery charges. Take this as a warning, do not make any online purchases when a company does not list thier address, or you can not reach them by phone. I also went one step futher and registered a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) It is very easy to do online and i suggest anyone having problems with So-Trick do do so as well. These people need to be busted by the FEDS!!!!!!"

"I ordered computer fans and they were never shipped/no tracking number. I called and spoke to "Dave" who said he didn't have authority to make a refund. Y.S. Tech fans that the website indicated were in stock were no longer available, yet they charged my credit card. I called one of the co-owners, Art, and he also said he didn't have the authority to cancel my order! So, I told him that charging me for my order, not shipping it, and then not granting a refund that I requested twice on the phone, and twice by e-mail, is stealing! These guys are scammers.
BTW, I also filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

"God, I never even thought these guys had reseller ratings till now. I come to see more than half the people on here have had similar experiences. Basically being ROBBED, CANNED, SCAMMED. I can't believe these guys are still in business. I ordered 7 120mm Anodized Alluminum fans from these guys only to never to recieve a single thing, no email no tracking number.... only lies. However, I have ordered a case and similar fans from them and they did arrive.... so I'll give em' that.

But the trouble with these fans is downright ridiculous. I call in and report that I never recieved my order and nobody sounded like they wanted to even respond.... just stay silent...until I initiated conversation. And then I think I'm getting somewhere by an acknowledgement that yes my order was not fulfilled and that I would be getting the fans once they got another batch from their Anodizer. A week goes buy, then two, then three. I call again.... and I get "Oh, they're still at the anodizer". OK, I wait somemore and somemore and then it's over three months. I email support and they reply "your fans will be done soon". OK, I wait some more. Well a month goes by after that. I then email them and haven't heard from them since. I was unable to file a complaint with Paypal because the order had been more than 30 days old. I don't see how this type of practice would lead to anything positive. Business that are so blatant with their unlawful acts should not have the privelage of a seller and be held legally accountable for acts such as this, especially with all the consistant negative ratings. If they were near me, I'd love to pay a visit so they can deny me to my face. But life isn't that fair. So to sum it up, my order on 8/31/04 is STILL unfulfilled and of course, I don't get any responses and probably will not ever.

Warning to all potential shoppers.....BEWARE.... you got a 50/50 chance and load of headaches with these fellas.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!THEY ARE FRAUDULANT LIARS AND THIEVES!

I placed a small order worth of small copper ramsinks $28.00US including shipping over 2 1/2 maonths ago and have still seen nothing.

After the first month of waiting,I expressed my impatience and was told:

"Hello , Your Order Was Shipped Out on Oct.15 by USPS Parcel Post to Canada ,
Should be there or it is Being Returned Here by Now. Sorry we can not
control Customs Agents !


Thanks, Chris , Support Dept."


After a month and a half I sent this mnail:

So over a month later still nothing,and my last email threatening a negative review here ignored
and my money gone.

I have done tons of business accross the border via ebay and online stores and never ever had any problems with customs holding or returning my stuff so I find it quite unlikely that delivery of $20 worth of ramsinks would have been refused entry or lost in the mail into Canada twice,therefore it's quite aparent to me that So-Trick has Clearly gone out of their way to rip me off for a measly $28.00US.

"I ordered a Lian Li PC 6077 Case (silver) and an extra Lian Li CD Bezel (silver) on 11/15/04. Both showed on the site as in stock for immediate delivery. After ordering I get an immediate email confirmation that just shows the price ($142.95) and the Order ID number (it's the only email I have ever received from them).

I wait a few days for an email shipping confirmation but don't get one. I email the owner about this and get no response. Over a couple of more days I email 2 more times and again, get no response. I then call the number on the site and some guy answers the phone, "Hello". Now I'm getting nervous, never seen a company answer the phone without giving the company name and the person's name. I tell him about my experiences and he then asks what I ordered. I get nervous again. He doesn't ask for my name or order number. He says, he THINKS it went out on Wednesday (I ordered on Monday). He said he would make sure I got an email and shipping tracking number. Never got it. I call him 2 more times after that and get similar comments from him about his best guesses.

So here we are on 11/25/04 and I am no closer to finding out about my order. The only thing I KNOW is my credit card was charged on 11/19/04.

Now I have to wait until Monday to inquire again. If I don't hear something by then, I am going to call my Credit Card company and see if I can get the money credited back on my credit card. I am not a happy camper about this. I buy a lot of computer stuff online and made a big mistake going with So-Trick (it was my first time ordering from them and it will sure be my last, even if the order comes in). This is just terrible customer support.

"I've only made the one order with sotrick, and I won't be making the same mistake twice. I just get the feeling you are really playing russian roulette with your money when you hand it over to these people, maybe you'll get lucky, or maybe it will disappear into the ether.

I made an order, and paid with paypal, when the process was complete and I had sent them the money, their website said "security error" and wouldnt confirm my order had been received, so I emailed them and asked if they could double check everything went okay. No reply. waited a few days, then emailed again, No reply.

I looked around the website and noticed a few suspicious things, such as "Verified by paypal" links pointing to pages that said "NOT VERIFIED". Fearing the worst, I emailed once more and politely pointed out the suspicious things I had noticed and said that I was worried I had been duped, and asked them if they would please reassure me everything was okay. The owner emailed back a one line reply, saying I was "way out of line", I responded asking again if my order was received and there was no response.

I waited another 10 days, then emailed them saying If they could please check their records and issue me a refund, the owner replied saying the order had been shipped out and that I was trying to scam him out of the money...incredible.

update: 3 months later, the parts never did show up.

"I bought from so-tricks several times now. every time, i have been more then satisfied. not only is it a great price, but they are easy to work with, and ship fast. every time, I have had it shiped ground, and it was at my house in Oklahoma city the next morning.the only problem I have ever had was one part that was defective, but was replaced withen a week of failing, no questions asked.
