Horrible Company will never buy again!

"Very slow shipping time and bad customer service

The only redeeming quality of this business is that they sell unique, hard-to-find items. However, their order processing speed and customer service are both garbage, and warrant zero stars. I have ordered from them twice, and both times it took them more than 1 week to even ship out my order. Then, since they ship via the slowest (and cheapest for them) option, you can plan on it taking an additional 7-10 days for your order to be received. In this day and age, taking 2+ weeks to receive an order is unacceptable

No Shipping Instructions

"The site was advertising free 2-day shipping on orders over $100. I placed an order of over $350 on December 18th. I got a shipping notification that UPS received the shipment information on December 19th and that my order was not to be delivered until December 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 days after my order certainly not 2 days. And it was a Christmas present. I contacted customer support and was told that it was my fault, that I had not chosen the expedited shipping. I made the "assumption" that it was a given since there were no instructions either on the front page nor on the order page to make sure that I chose the right option. Stupid me.

I should have used Amazon. I won't make this mistake again.

"I truthfully would not recommend this website at all. I've ordered from hundreds of different websites for YEARS, and I really have never been as disappointed as I was with this site. I typically do not write reviews either, but I found it necessary to write one to warn off any new potential customers. If you place an order, it's pretty much a given that you won't receive it in a timely manner at all. I waited 3 weeks and finally got an answer that my order was STILL not even in their warehouse. (and it was a very important and special gift to be given to someone by then). Just expect you will not be getting your order for at least a month. It would be VERY nice for them to advertise that! Needless to say, they were not helpful in anything other than cancelling my order. They do not return issues/concerns in a timely fashion either, so I would be very weary to use this site for anything at all unless you plan to be on the phone with them for 20+ minutes. I am an extremely unsatisfied customer... and I do not say that often. "

"I was a longtime customer who would place $500-600 orders with Smallflower, but I will no longer do busines with this company. An order I'd placed had gone unshipped for more than three weeks, and was listed as backordered on my account, so I e-mailed to inquire (no response) and then phoned. I reached a rude and unbelievably disrespectful "manager" (I later learned his name is AJ) who cut me off while I was talking, yelled at me, and essentially said sod off. So I am gone. Smallflower does not sell anything you can't get elsewhere online. They have always been bad about keeping things in stock, so I've always had a few items backordered. My last order, however, was for 14 items. I was notified that one product was no longer available (yet was still listed on the site), and I discovered that all the rest were listed as backordered when I went to the site to track my missing order. The entire order backordered? For more than three weeks? And no one bothers to notify the customer? That's just sloppy business practice. (After getting off the phone with AJ I went to an online competitor and purchased several items from my Smallflower order. Same price, free shipping, and I got a click-and-ship confirmation for the order in less than two hours. Two hours vs. Smallflower's three weeks and counting? It's a no brainer.)"

"Very poor customer service. My order was wrong and when I asked them to remedy it, they implied that I was being dishonest and the reply I got from AJ was extremely snarky. I thought this was going to be a cool company to buy less usual products from. Now I'm going to be out about $ 15 and will never shop there again. Very disappointed."

"I like that Merz carries products that I loved using while abroad - now I can get them in the states for a reasonable price! The products came quickly and were packaged well.
