Disappointed...Color does not match the proof...twice!

"The first run the color was supposed to be a red. The proof I approved was red. The finished product was brown. They agreed to reprint the cards. This time even though they had the CMYK color code and the proof looked good they still produced a color that did not resemble the proof. I was not asking for a perfect match just red. I was told they do not print in-house. I was also told (like a previous reviewer that I had to send them samples of the incorrect color on the first run because they did not have samples of their own job). I did that...they reprinted the job...they got it wrong again. These cards are too expensive to receive this kind of inferior product and the printing and shipping time is ridiculously slow. No more Silkcards.com for me."

worst company

"My cards came with a yellow tint. I contacted the company but they would not reply. Within a month they turned very yellow and looked awful. A representative from the company by the name of Christian was very rude. He would not do anything to fix the problem. He wanted us to change our logo so they could print on black. That's crazy!! I spent about $1,000 for business cards I had to throw away. Buyer beware!!! "

Terrible customer service

"I have been using SilkCards when they are 4 Color prints since 2011 they were very good before never had an issue. These cards are clearly not printed correctly I am not brown or black. Look at the proof that I approved. Either they charged management or ownership their management team will do a reprint for and will not give me a refund just leaving me hanging. Asking me to send them samples why should as a customer spend my time and money for their mistakes. They told me they can get samples from production. Waited 1 week nothing. Got an email that production don’t have it. Asking me to send pictures which I sent pictures and video already. Called them no answer spool to a manager Christian told me he will deal with and waited days no answer called him. He was busy will call me back right away. Did not happen. Called today. He is not in. This is the kind of service you can expect now from these guys. Lucky if you get your orders good. By the way I have been ordering premium cards from them since day one. Normally I order 2-3 thousand lucky I ordered much less this round. They don’t care about customer service. "

Color wrong and customer service horrible

"I ordered cards through this company, Silk Cards, using my local card shop. I was told they take longer but quality is solid. We made the order and it was approximately $500 for 500 cards. 250 were supposed to be blue and 250 grey. Premium cards we thought. I received charcoal color cards that look like magnets. The colors are off. The quality is off. The customer service person, Christian, who identifies himself as the Brand Ambassador would not talk to me. He explained that he would only talk to company that placed order. I put Sobe Express owner on the phone and he would not talk to us. No problem talking to us when we were both on the phone clarifying our order. Christian said he would not speak to him with the customer on phone ( that's me). Christian gave the owner a phone number to call him on and it went immediately to voicemail. We called back and Christian was annoyed. Immediately upon receiving the deficient cards, we sent an email with photos. Clear as can be that colors were wrong. We will now follow Christian's request for 2-3 physical cards be sent back to him. They just printed them and we sent pictures but they need them back and say we need to make a claim. We are following their bogus request. BUYERS BEWARE! Look at other reviews. They have issues getting the colors correct. The brand ambassador can't speak to customer. Will not speak to card company that placed order on my behalf. What happened to the time where customer satisfaction meant something? Simple response should have been send back cards and we will correct the problem and send out new cards."

"I'm always impressed with everything I've experienced with silkcards.com. Regardless of the options: plastic, silk , foil and uv spot cards always come out super fancy and quality is superb and worth the cost! Customer service is always exceptional."

"This place is the best for printing business cards. The prices are right & the quality is the best I've seen. BUT... the way they run things is very poor, the customer service is almost non-existent & the whole process is very slow. It usually takes at least 11 business days to get the product."
