CSN Coin SHopTV

"I ordered one coin came in a decent time. no documentation as to authenticity. Then I received a bill to my card for another coin. Of course the email confirming shipment has no email address. Should've done my home work total scam and the website looks legit with the better business seal on it. I'm going to file complaint with them next. Do not patronize this scam. Still working with my bank to recoup second unauthorized payment. Going to file complaint with the cable channel and history channel as well so these guys aren't allowed to rip off other vets."

Ripoff

"First of all it took so long to arrive i actually forgot i even ordered it. Second, their delivery charges are almost as much as the coin itself. Buy directly from the U.S mint and join loyalty program..you will get free shipping and alerts when coins go on sale. This CSN is a total ripoff..buyer beware."

Delivery?????

"Do not buy from these crooks. All other dealers offer free shipping and actually give yoi tracking information, csn charges ridiculous amount for shipping and handling . No tracking info or even any knowledge of when these orders are coming. Some people have thousands of dollars out there without any information about where their product is at, definitely do not order from this **** poor run company. Rip off

Unhappy!

"I bought the 44 year set for $399.95 and nowhere did I see or hear that San Francisco mint sets were not included so when the set finally arrived 2 months and a week later I checked and found no S mint coins and after checking the pricing I found the set total is $396.00 I will not purchase again from CSN and would suggest anyone thinking about it to completely research it before you buy. They do feed on those that are coin collecting ignorant!!!!!!!!!!!"

Silver Eagles not really available

"I ordered American Eagles that was advertised as being currently available. My credit card was charged October 18,2020. I have made my second call today, December 17 and was told they had run out but was getting some from the coin grader every day and they were shipping these every day. They could not tell me when to expect them. They asked me to be patient."

Shipping

"I live in Arizona, they ship the coins from Arizona. I purchased 1 coin on July 4th. Knowing it's a holiday and weekend I can understand it taking 10 days by usps ground to get to me. Nowhere does it say it will take 4 to 6 weeks to even process my order, let alone ship it to me. When I ordered the coin silver was at $14.00 an out, now its $25.00 ozt. If I had it, it would have been sold by now."

rip off

"What ever silver eagle he is promoting, he says this coins is the rarest. If a million coins were minted and 1000 is certified, what is the mintage 1000 because it is certified?"

20 Kennedy half dollars, uncirculated

"Mid December I ordered a couple of rolls of the random date unciculated Kennedy half dollars, it took 6 weeks for the to deliver these coins! They took the $89.00 the same day that I ordered them. On TV they showed huge piles of these coins, on the close up pictures they had beautiful gem quality looking coins, what you get are uncirculated, but they have a lot of bag damage, not a good deal, both sets had the following coins, one 1965, one 1966, six 1967, eight 1968 and four 1969. Both coin sets had exactly the same number of each year. They over load you on the crappier year coins. Obviously not random coins. You will do much better to buy the coins someplace else. I bought more of the same random coin sets on eBay for $22.00 less and I got much nicer coins delivered in 5 days, not 6 weeks! I don't know how they justify 6 weeks! Total rip off! I doubt that these coins would grade at NCG because the bag marks are so rough on them. I will never buy coins from there jokers again! Scammers used my money to buy the coins that they sent me and I doubt they paid $20.00 for each roll of 20 coins. That guy talks a good game."

"I was horrified to see that this guy can go on tv and spew out-and-out LIES about the "product" that he's selling and get away with it!!! What I am referring to is his selling "1 pound hoard of silver coins"....guaranteed to be in at least "average circulated condition" for $399.95.

Ladies and gentlemen....this is an absolute RIPOFF. The direct LIE I am referring to is his suggesting (during the airing) that an example lot of coins he was selling had a numismatic value of around $1580. This is just a boldface lie: pure and simple. There is absolutely no numismatic value in any of the coins he is selling, save for a few extra bucks for the silver dollar. He stated the coins were only guaranteed to be in "average circulated" condition, which means they are, in reality, "junk silver coins" with no additional value over their silver content.

If you want to check out what the actual cost of such a lot should be, check out a HONEST online silver seller....such as Bullion Direct, APMEX, or Provident Precious Metals. Reputable dealers sell 90% silver coins by face value, and as a frame of reference, 1 pound of 90% silver coins has about $18.40 in face value.

Let me demonstrate for you what you should actually be paying (retail) assuming silver at a spot value of $17 per oz: 1 junk silver dollar, retail about $18; $17.40 face value junk silver coins, retail price about $14.50 per $1 face value, total retail price $252.

Total reasonable cost RETAIL that you should pay: about $270.

The total SPOT VALUE of the silver in the lot is about $223. There is 13.14 ozt silver content per pound of silver coins; 13.14 ozt x $17/ozt = $223.

So....bottom line: if he sells all 1000 lbs he claims he's trying to sell...he is ripping off his buyers for at the very least a tidy sum of about $130,000 total, and actually closer to about $175,000 or so assuming he actually bought his coins at around spot value (most likely). Of course this may all be a lie as well; at this price there is probably no limit to what he actually "can" sell, and thus, how much $$$ he might make in this scam.

Are there not laws in place regarding false advertising? If so, clearly this guy should be in jail.
