"Bait and switch company!!!! Me and my cousing ordered 4k TVs from their website. I got a call from rep the following day that the one I ordered was sold out. Then he asked me if I meant to order a commercial version or residential. I said residential of course. Then he said that the one I ordered was a commercial one (which he quoted "sold out" last week but still they have it advertised online) and their website is wrong. So he then tries to upsell me the residential version and charge me $300 more. I said no thanks and told him that this sales transaction seemed very deceptive. He went on and on about he's been in business for 30 years and he knows what he is talking about. He also said that the reason why its 300 bucks more is because they throwing a free wall mount? Then he tried offering to throw in HDMI cables...really? Again, I told him no thanks cause the reason why I shop online is to find the best price. So I cancelled the order. He became rude and he said good luck without a TV and hung up on me.
Later on that day, my friend called me and mentioned that he also got call from a rep and experience the same deceptive sales pitch and try to upsell him. He also cancelled his order. 2 strikes in one day and I wonder who else they have tried to upsell using this deceptive sales tactic? I will research this company in Better Business Bureau and also file a complaint. The only good thing is they immediately sent an email canceling the order after hanging up on me.

Claimed the model was a "commercial" one without warranty and the USA one was $1300 more. LIE.... There is NO commercial, NON USA or what ever models. The model # IS EXACTLY what it is. "What they offer online is total different after you buy it;
The TV that they sold me came with NO warranty since is a Canadian model, if you want the warranty the is the USA model and it is $100 extra.
Shipping is free but they recommend the White Glove delivery, an extra $150.
The Tilt Wall mount is free but this is not a low profile therefore an extra $100.
In other words instead of paying $799 I end up paying $1,149.
They should mention that the TV has no warranty in their add."
"'My name is Gary Celetti, I live in Florida, I found ShopSmart TV's on line. I ordered a 55" smart curved 4K 3D television for $3699.00. I did receive a call back from Scott who said that the on line TV is an import but could sell me the US version. I appreciated the honesty from him, so I ordered it. Now when you spend this amount of money on line! you tend to panic. I did, however, I contacted customer service and reached Ryan. Well let me tell you, Ryan is the man! not only did he reassure me that the TV was in fact from LG, he worked with me on the price of the cables, warranty, and the delivery. This man is a professional in his field of customer service. He returned all of my phone calls within a timely manner and always polite. I wasn't at times very polite. I did receive my TV today as scheduled from AM trucking. The TV was exactly what Ryan and Scott said it was and the trucking company is what they advertise they are. I will recommend ShopSmart TV to anyone. Those of you who have written negative reviews about ShopSmart TV's, are probably people who are never satisfied, and because of these reviews I almost cancelled my order. Thanks to Ryan I kept my order, saved allot of money and couldn't be happier. For you skeptics, and people who write bad reviews for fun, I am a real customer! Then I received a call saying that, in the fine print, I was required to pay an additional "insurance policy" for shipping. I was also told to look deep in the description and see that I purchased a "commercial" version that only had a 1 month warranty instead of a 12 month. Oh, but don't worry they said, for an additional $500-$600, they could take care of me. I told them to forget it and cxl my order.

"I purchased a Samsung television from ShopSmartTVs.com and they tried to pull a bait and switch. A few hours after I placed the order they called me to confirm that I wanted "the commercial version" of the TV rather than the consumer version. I assume they knew I was unaware I ordered a commercial version because no place on the detail page do they mention this information. The model number is the consumer model number, and there is no mention of this being a commercial version in the product title. It turns out if you click the description tab on the bottom of the page, in small type it says "commercial model AU Version". They knew it was highly likely that I missed this, so they were using this hidden information as an excuse to call me and do the bait and switch. Once I told them I was looking for a consumer model, they told me that the commercial version wasn't as good, it had no warranty and it had inferior parts to the consumer version. They said that if I wanted the consumer version I would have to pay an extra $200. They then tried to pressure me to make the decision on the spot, saying "they looked up other prices on the Internet and their price was still was the cheapest". They also told me "they were going to be out of stock soon so I better make a decision now." When I said "no, I want to cancel the order" they demanded to know why. I told them "it's the $200 bucks and I'm capable of searching the Internet myself". Afterwards I did research. The first thing I did was find another store selling the TV at their original price . The second thing I did was research Samsung's commercial TV line. Everything Martin, the sales rep, told me was a lie. According to Samsung, their commercial TVs have more robust parts because they are intended to be on for longer periods of time, they have superior warranties, and their model numbers aren't the same as those of the consumer TVs. Clearly the goal of the hidden info is to manipulate customers into spending an extra $200. I will never buy anything from this store again, they can't be trusted. I advise anyone shopping there to be careful. In the end, I shouldn't have canceled my order. I'd be interested in seeing the commercial TV Samsung says doesn't exist."
