"I purchased a 65" HDTV from ShopNBC based on information provided in one of their telecasts. It was portrayed as a great value and not available anywhere else and will not be available to consumers for several more months. I made the purchase late Saturday and then cancelled midday Sunday. The $2,000 item was available for $1,500 at several reputable merchants. Even though I spoke to a customer representative on Sunday and sent two emails notifying of the cancellation, the item shipped three days later. My inquiry to ShopNBC was met with email responses claiming that cancellations are not guaranteed and that ShopNBC assumes the purchaser has evaluated the shopping value and is committed to the transaction. In other words, buyer beware you will not be able to cancel an order eventhough you are provided with cancellation options at the time of purchase. I will never buy from ShopNBC again, and I strongly recommend the same to all consumers. It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. "

"i wondered if a ratings log was kept on shop nbc - i have had a number of concerns and issues with customer service. they are absolutely the worst customer service department in the home shopping network. i purchased a ruby and diamond ring from them that cost 799. after two weeks of wearing it (only actually wore it about 4 times within that time) a diamond fell out. i called to complain but all they wanted to do was to fall back on their 30 day warranty - which is a joke because it doesn't start upon arrival it starts from order date but you have to have your item returned within 30 days of the order date as well - which really only leaves about 2 weeks. someone needs to check on the legal ramifications of making a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. i do buy from them often but return most of the items i'm not going to keep anything i really don't like. it's true that the items look different in person than on T.V."

"I originally ordered a Coby PMP from ShopNBC on Dec. 9, 06. I did not receive any kind of notification that the order had been received so I emailed customer service. They replied the next day stating the order went through, to expect the item no later than Dec. 17 and a tracking number would be provided within 24 hours. On Dec. 12, I called Customer service because the status of the order never changed. I was told it was on credit hold (I used a citibank credit card, no way it could be on hold) and would need to talk to credit. I waited an hour until they opened and called. The rep said there was no credit hold and didn't know why I was told that. He then put me in contact with someone who tried to help by cancelling original order, placing new order with express Fedex shipping (for $33 more) and guaranteed delivery by 12/15/06. Received email on 12/13 that order was shippig today and tracking number would be provided within 24 hours; wrong!! I looked today, 12/15/06, order was shipped today according to fedex, to be delivered by 12/20. hmm, i spent $33 more to get the package even later. ShopNBC, We have a problem. Customer service is clueless; they blame fedex for the problem. I'll be letting the kind folks at Fedex know they are being given a bad name by a major customer of theirs. Never order from them."

"I would never ever buy another product from SHOP NBC!!!!! I purchased a Prototron Portable DVD player for my daughters bday present. Thing is i bought it in June on a 6 month payment plan, my daughters bday is in October. So needless to say my daughter gets her DVD player., which at this point only works intermitently while plugged in. In a vehicle it never worked on the attachment included , since any movement of the unit or chord results in the unit shutting off. Now it doesnt work at all!!! While plugged into the wall outlet, it will NOT work!!! The battery will NOT charge!!!! This DVD player is worthless now, unless i pay to get it fixed on my own. Keep in mind this product was never opened or used until OCT2005 at which point i worked marginaly at best. I contacted SHOP NBC with my dilema. Ther is nothing they can do...30 days is there warranty! and 90 days in the manufacturers warranty (Prototron...guess i should of known by the wonderful name brand).
I was then offered a 10% discount from SHOP NBC on the purchase price of my product. Which in this case was $15.95 toward my next SHOP NBC purchase. Which is worthless as well, since i will never again shop with them.
One thing you may want to keep in mind with warranty programs like this, is to not shop for gifts EVER, especialy if you dont plan on giving it immediately after it is recieved. Chances are if you wait even 2 weeks you will be out of their warranty time. They also state that they stand behind every product they sell!!!! That is a total joke, unless you consider 30 days from the invoice date as truly STANDING BEHIND a product. Worst customer service i have ever recieved in my life.

"I purchased a V2 Premier notebook from ShopNBC specifically for the wireless capabilities. The notebook came with the wireless g router and I was also suppose to be able to use other wireless networks at such as places libraries, airports, starbuck coffee shops. Well never in the t.v. advertising or on the box of the wireless router did it say I'd have to get some sort of highspeed internet. Maybe I am not as tech savey as I should be but this should have been mentioned. As for the other wireless capabilities the software just wasn't there. I was told I can keep the entire system or return it even thought it is after the 30 days. I was given the wrong information by the shopnbc rep and was told to call Viscom for the return. I was outright lied to by the Viscom rep who gave me a call ID number and told me the authorization number would be mailed to me. I was even given instruction on how to mail it back. I never received the authorization number and called back to be yelled at by a supervisor name Tom operator #131. I never finished a sentence before he rudely told me I was lying about the rep giving me an authorization because the rep was not authorized. The rep I spoke to originally put false information about what he told me and since they don't record their conversations (how convenient) it was my word against his. I was informed by the supervisor, who was not privy to the conversation, that the original rep told me he would put in a request for an authorization. That was a lie that rep never said that. I was then told by the supervisor that I declined and that is why I was not given an authorization number and the rep never told me he would mail it. I had to remind the supervisor that he was not privy to the conversation ,but I was. The supervisor Tom was extremely rude yelling at me even telling me to be quiet and that he was not going to listen to me because it didn't matter because there was not going to be a return.
The bottom line is that customer service at Viscom is rigged and lacking and a joke. The fact that the supervisor felt comfortable enough
to tell me what a had to have rep said in a conversation when he himself wasn't there let me know they are trained to lie. The reps are told to tell the customer the authorization will be mailed to get them off the phone. They not the account totally different and then the next rep plays on the fact that they only have the notes to go by.
If you purchase a computer form them please buy a phone line recorder and record your conversation. In the end I had to go back through Shopnbc and let them know that it was their fault and they had to correct it. I was sent the return sticker, minus the cost of shipping, and can only pray they give me my full refund.

"I ordered a reg. king size serta mattress on a sunday night, only to find out that sunday night, I got confirmation for my order via email and the lady put in for a Calif. king. I tryed to call back that same night only to be told that the ordering agent does not have the authorization to change my order, and to call back on normal business hours to customer service (another number) on monday. At 9am monday I called trying to get the order straightened out, they told me sorry, my order has been processed and that they could not change the order, they could only request to cancel the order, and that the cancellaton would not be guaranteed. I asked the lady why she could not request to just change it to a reg. king instead of the calif. king, she said she could not. I have not even received their product yet and I am already not satisfied. I said to the lady on the phone what about 100% satisfaction guarantee? Apparently they don't want my business, and therefore I do not want to do business with them. I will not accept the bed if they call me to send it, and if I get charged for it, my attorney will be contacted. This is the worst place to do business with, customer service is not helpful at all, very rude, and only out to try to robb you of your money. Wish I would'a read all your reviews before purchasing, it would have saved me the runaround. skip this one folks, buy elsewhere."

"Items shipped to me were not as discribed on their show. They are cheap looking and not worth the money. I have been trying to get them to pay for the shipping back to them. They are a real nightmare to deal with. I would advise people not to shop there."

"This is probably the worst reseller I've done business with. Site is clunky and slow, products are way overpriced, and when you find a good deal and use a coupon they cancel your order WITHOUT even the courtesy of an email notifying you of the status!! "I ordered a Game Cube console system on February 1st, and as of February 11th, my order has not been shipped. It was in stock when I ordered! When I saw it wasn't shipped by February 5th, I tried to cancel my order through their website and phone, and the system won't let me! I tried to talk to a customer service reprentative for 3-4 times and every time I called, I had to hang up after an hour of holding because I had other stuff to do.

HORRIBLE PROCESSING TIME, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am very dissatisfied.

"Bought a V2 Premiere laptop from there computer store, Had trouble after 2wks. Got the runaround for another 3-4 weeks and they said it was past their 30 day return.They put a new hard drive in, but put nothing on it! They said I had to reload everything myself, including Windows XP OS!!They have a lousy tech support with long, long wait times. After fighting with them for 4 months I got labelsin the mail to send it back for a full refund, no letter with it and no apology just labels! They only did this after I complained thru Mastercard and they challenged the payment thru them. DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER THRU THEM."

"i would be real careful purchasing a v2 premier from shop nbc or v2 premier company. i purchased mine a year ago,had no reason to check inside the cabinet when i bought it and it ran good for awhile now the cpu and motherboard are shot because during assembling or shipping two of the four legs that hold the fan and heatsink to the cpu were broke and fried my chip&motherboard. when i called them they said they would not help me because my wauranty ran out three months ago. i feel that in good faith they should replace the chip and board since it had to have happened during assembling or shipping,i personally will never do buisness with them and nor will anybody i know!!!! good luck if you buy from them you will need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I purchased a V2premeirP-4xp desktop computer from Shop NBC just a few days ago. So far it has been shipped and I have Ups tracking #. Since I have 30 days to return I wanted to see other comments on this product and the tech support as well.
I hope I won't be sorry as i can find no feedback on this product and there service.
Am interested in an comments from a fellow buyer.
