"I too fell victim to this scam because of the affiliation with PayPal. I opened a claim, but they ruled in favor of this fraudulent company because they were able to provide proof of shipping! How else can I get my money back? I haven't received one thing from them, either in the mail or in response to my emails, and ordered shoes at the end of May. Help!"

I also was taken. I ordered one pair of shoes for my wife. I paid with PayPal and thought it was safe. I checked the status of my order a few days later. It still said pending. I started emailing them and didn't get a reply. A few days later, I couldn't get on the site at all. I searched shoesthestation and found these reviews. I haven't received anything yet. I'll wait a couple of weeks and then file a claim with PayPal. If I file too soon before I get whatever from them, they may win the claim because they can prove they sent something. I just hope everyone sees these reviews before they buy from them.
Update: I received on 7/10 a pen like everybody else. I just filed a claim through PayPal.
Update: PayPal said they would refund my money if I sent back the pen...it cost more to send the pen back than my refund would be. What a SCAM!!!"
"Same thing happened to me that did to everyone else. Thank god I only speent $31.50 on these "shoes" and by "shoes" I mean a tiny package with what is possibly a pen or syringe. I am not opening it just in case this jerk is some kind of terrorist. I just opened a claim with Pay Pal so I will update when I know the outcome.
I learned my lesson when it comes to cheap shoes!!! I did end up ordering a real pair from ebay (from a seller with positive reviews!!) so all in all I ended up spending $100 on this pair of shoes.
Don't be a dummy like me and check the reviews AFTER you order from this place!! Don't buy from them!!"
"My story is essentially the same as all of the ones posted so far. When I received the very small package (too small to contain a pair of shoes) from China, I did not open it. I was directed by Paypal to return the package with a tracking number. I stopped at UPS and was told that it would cost me around $60 to send it. I then went to USPS and since I had not opened the package, USPS said I could just refuse it and the original tracking number would be used - this did not cost me anything. I filed the tracking number with Paypal and after filing the police report, Paypal has refunded the original charge. It took along time but Paypal came through. One of the main reasons I bought the shoes from the ShoestheStation was the fact that I could pay through Paypal - I assumed that retailer/reseller had been checked out by Paypal. It would be nice to know how this scammer got to use the Paypallink. "
"Sadly, the reseller behind ShoesTheStation.com is an impostor! I thought it was a safe website to purchase from because the payment was done through PayPal. However, ShoesTheStation.com did not deliver my purchased products and the website never responded to any e-mail sent by me. Then a long process started to claim my money back, and after a long time I eventually got my money back from PayPal. Finally PayPal decided to process a refund to me because ShoesTheStation.com did not respond to any of their emails too. So beware! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED BY SHOESTHESTATION.COM!"
"I just found this website and will be another victim of this scam. I ordered a pair of sandals for my husband and received a little package in the mail yesterday with a pen syringe. As soon as I saw how the package was addressed to me, I knew it was from the "shoe" company. (I had written the word "drive" without caps.)
I immediately contacted PayPal and filed a claim. I then noticed the check was sent to an overseas address etc.
I am hoping to get my money back, but I have learned a valuable lesson. Buyer beware...
If you notice, the company name is a takeoff of "the shoe station"..when I read some of the policies and they referred to "dear customer" I should have known it was a scam. Glad I didn't give them my credit card number instead of PayPal..then I would have more to worry about.
UPDATE: May 17 After following up with PayPal, I am now going to get a refund. They were very helpful and understood the situation. To get an online tracking number from the Postal Service to send the "toy" back to China, it would have cost more than the orignal purchase. I have learned a valuable lesson...never do business with anyone without thorough research...make sure they have a physical address in the U.S. with good reviews from an independent website such as this one. Glad all the previous people posted their advice...it helped a great deal. Thank you."
"I too got screwed by this chinese scam. My wife ordered two pairs of Puma sneakers. The next day I ordered a pair of Cole Hann shoes. Something seemed a little fishy. The prices where too low! After a little research and read all the bad reviews, I was able to cancel, at least my order through Pay Pal. The two pairs of sneakers are in limbo with Pay Pal. I also received two pens with blue fluid in a needle.

"Unfortunately I discovered this rating site after the fact....I too ordered from shoesthestation two pairs of tennis shoes and received a "syringe" pen. This website should be shut down, along with paypal! I have been trying to work with paypal, but they now want me to send back this "pen" at my expense! "Total scam!! I ordered two pairs of shoes from this site and recieved a pen in the post instead of shoes!! I'm disgusted this site is still running withy all the complaints. And the fact after all complaints paypal still seem to be doing business with them! I am in the process of sending back the bloody cheap biro pen at paypals request to get my refund! I wouldn't mind but I now have had to pay £7.50 to send it back.! I baffles me why they would want me to send a pen back. It should be sent to the police and looked into. The seller provided a tracking number, so the case was not found in my favor. I received a SYRINGE in an envelope TODAY. I wish I had been fortunate to receive just an empty envelope. I now have an appeal claim with Paypal to refund my money!!!!! Anyone know who I should have the syringe examined by? I have not opened it because of fear of the contents and sticking myself.
