"DON'T BUY FROM SHENTECH! I agree with the other reviewer who said if it worked out for some with this company, they got lucky. I ordered a Netgear RP114 Router, advertised as NEW, and it came in a plain cardboard box and was missing some documentation. I e-mailed Shentech, telling them of my concern, and they reassured me that the router was indeed new. However, when I called Netgear to try to activate the warranty, they told me that the serial number indicated that it was a REFURBISHED router and that they could not provide warranty service for it. Shentech did accept the return of the router, however, did not charge me a restocking fee, and refunded me my shipping charges (although not what I had to pay to send it back to them), as I requested in the unhappy letter I sent them. But the point is that they sent me a falsely advertised product. Also, I ordered an ethernet cable from them that did not work."
"I ordered 2 U.S. Robotics modems and got a non-working modem from them. Looked like the modem had been used! When I went to their website to get a RMA # , as they requested me to do, I could not submit the RMA form to get a RMA #!! Sounds like a making of a bad company to deal with already!! I am not associated with any other company; just a plain customer like you. Will never shop from this company again and hope you stay away too! Companies that ship used or non-working products deserve to go bankrupt! "
"I ordered the Altec Lansing ADA885 speakers from Shentech. Item was listed as in stock and same day shipment. I placed the order late at night after closing. Next day I recieved email that item had shipped which was first business day after order. Item was exactly as advertised, brand new, perfect working condition. Would definately puchase from again. May buy a second set of speakers for my father. No problem at all with purcahse or shipment of product. "

"I ordered an eVGA Geforce FX 5900 128MB video card from them and it showed up in perfect working order. Price was as low as any of the others. Placed order at 3AM and it shipped that day, arrived on my doorstep on the 18th since I ordered 1 day shipping.
I will definitely order from them again. This was my first order and I need a few more flawless orders before you'll get an A+ rating from me, but they are on the right track.

"I found Shentech on Pricewatch.com when I was looking for a GeForce4 Ti4200 64MB video card. They were selling one for $82, and they were by far less shady than the other companies that were selling them for even less.
I had never used Shentech before, but I placed an order on the evening of June 23rd, and the next day I received confirmation that they had shipped my package. I was able to track my package on the UPS website that same day.
The package came on July 1st, which was its scheduled day of delivery. The packaging was good enough. The card was in a static shield bag and then wrapped excessively (a good thing!) in bubble wrap.
Since it was an OEM product, it was just the card and a driver disc. The card looked brand new, which I would expect, but who really knows. I installed the card and it worked perfectly. I didn't try the driver disc, since I just went online and downloaded the latest nVidia drivers from their website.
I would definitely do business with Shentech again."

"Ordered a new CPU, motherboard, 2x 512 meg memory strips, and 128meg video card. Product arrived with defective motherboard, which shorted out video card. When I sent back the order they refused to replace the memory or the CPU claiming they tested them and they were fine. I was supposed to take the risk. When they refused to make things right I demanded a refund and they hit me up for close to $200 in "restocking" fees, not just for the supposidly non-defective CPU and memory, but for the burned motherboard and video card. I am currently disputing the entire bill and will not willingly pay them one red cent after their hostile attitude and lousy customer service.
Avoid these people as you would the plague. Assuming you get what you want and it works you are fine, but watch out if ever encounter something that does not work. Not only will they give you a hassle, they'll also try to blame you for whatever breaks then do everything in their power to avoid making things right.
