Scores Full of Mistakes

"In August 2022, I purchased a copy of Philip Glass' "Opening" from his Glassworks suite. After struggling with it, I found there were at least 6 mistakes in the notation. SheetMusicPlus refused to refund my money and offered no other remedy. Buy your music elsewhere, they are not a reliable source!"

Great selection...Poor User Experience

"They have a very wide selection of sheet music but as many others have mentioned, they force you buy at least 10 copies (depending on the piece) even though I'd assume most users only need 1 or maybe 2 copies...really HORRIBLE customer service and user experience! Look elsewhere."

Horrible service and rude customer service representatives

"They use the cheapest service available with the delivery services. I live in Canada and they shipped two of my books with Canada Post. After more than two weeks from the shipping date, I called them to get some updates. I was told that they cannot track it since Canada Post does not provide that information. Now, I have ordered enough times online to know that is not true. The other day I ordered glasses from an American seller from their website and I was provided with the tracking information, and the delivery service was Canada Post. Canada Post does provide that information, but if you go for the absolute cheap package, it does not. Which made me realise that Sheetmusicplus are just cheap with their service. Also, their customer representatives are extremely rude and lack the necessary manners to talk to their customers. I think they just don't care about their business growth.

The shipping information before you purchase anything is also misleading. I was told by their representative that Canada post at times takes 7-8 weeks due to COVID. But this information was not present at the time of the purchase. Why is that?

So apparently I am in limbo with my books and they have no idea when they would be delivered to me.

PLEASE AVOID BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM! It is better to pay a bit extra and support the local stores than to go with a really low-quality company.

Poor quality downloads

"It took sooo long to be able to access my digital music, and when I did, it was grainy, ridiculous looking music that appeared to have been an old copy. It seemed to have been copied (over and over and over again) and then scanned into a cheap PDF.

VERY, VERY POOR QUALITY. DON’T BOTHER BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE!

ZERO Stars - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE

"My item was shipped April 23rd and still have not received it. Customer Service is not very helpful at all. Called to inquire about my package and stated I had a time frame in which to receive this item, and that time frame was in within a reasonable amount of time. Was told to give it another week. I explained that it appears to be stuck at a post office and asked if they could look into it. They made no effort to inquire with that post office. My only option was to wait it out. Sent a followup up e-mail addressing my concerns and was told I had already spoken to an agent and "Agreeded" to give it more time. If the conversation was recorded, you will see that I did not agree to wait. Total waste of my time and was frustrated beyond belief. This company needs to state how their items are being shipped. If you provide a PO Box number, there will be massive delays since they ship UPS from their location and them it is rerouted from UPS to USPS where your item will be in limbo for weeks. They have reviews that verify the fallacy of this method, yet they fail to address this situation and correct it. No concern here for customer service. If you must order from these people make sure you provide a physical address or you may never see your item. If you're only option is a PO BOX, shop somewhere else or you will be greatly disappointed."

"I have been purchasing both printed-bound-shipped music and digital music from SMP for at least 10 years and never had issues. I have to admit that I got a good laugh about the person whose review indicated they ordered the music the same day as the gig. Whoa, indeed."

Stay away from this business!

"I regard the business Sheet Music Plus as a scam, or at the least, one that is willing to operate fraudulently. I paid online for a piece of music and their was a choice on the order form of receiving it by email or post. I chose email and several days later received an email with the music in a form which could not be decoded by my computer. I wrote explaining the problem and requesting that they send it by post. I just received a form email saying it had been sent on the date of the email I received. I sent another email to the same effect and received the same stock reply, so it's clear to me that having received the money, they had no interest in ensuring their part of the bargain was fulfilled. What they did was a bit like someone ordering a product, and the seller sending them a photo of the product. Nothing was received that could be used. "

Order not delivered

"I ordered 2 books in September and they haven't arrived yet and now is January.
I emailed them in November and they didn't reply my email. and a few days later they said they are shipped but can't track the post. And so far I haven't got anything..
I checked shipping status on my account on their website and it says 'Thye are shipped on November 28' with the wrong address. I emailed again and waiting for their answer.

1 star is too much for sheet music plus. I paid 56.69 dollor and where can I get back?

THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY DON'T EVER PURCHASE FROM HERE!

"I ordered one simple piano piece from this website which cost $3.99. This was a digital download so they claimed it would be ready for use straight after purchase. Meanwhile, as soon as I had finished paying for the sheet music, IT SHOWED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN MY MUSIC INVENTORY. This is absolutely ridiculous. No matter how many times I sign out and then sign in again it still shows that APPARENTLY "NO SHEET MUSIC HAS BEEN PURCHASED"! THIS IS A TOTAL LOAD OF NONSENSE AS THEY EVEN SENT A RECEIPT EMAIL STATING I HAD SUCCESSFULLY BOUGHT THAT ITEM NOT TO MENTION A SECOND CONFIRMATION OF SUCCESSFUL PAYMENT FROM PAYPAL?! SO WHERE IS THE SHEET MUSIC THAT I AID FOR HUH?!?!? THESE PEOPLE ARE ABSOLUTE RIP OFFS AND SCAMMERS. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SHOP FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Deceptive Advertising Practices

Received several Black Friday emails from Sheet Music Plus promoting a Black Friday sale offering 15% off your order, 50% off shipping, and a promise of a $10 off coupon for a future order. I followed all the rules ($30 minimum, entered the promotional code) and none of these discounts were reflected in my order. When I reached out to the company I received no explanation and was told to just submit the order as is and they would just adjust the order on their end. I don't believe for a minute that they would actually adjust the order once they got my money, and I thought their response was pretty cavalier, so I just ordered form another site - at a lower price.

Fast with accusations, slow with refunds.

"Placed an order via their website.

Checked my order status later and found it canceled without any communication or explanation. Contacted them and the rep accused me of being fraudulent, no explanation or justification.

Even though they canceled the order, they did not refund my payment and I had to chase after it.

I do not like being accused of fraud for no reason. Do you?

Payed for fast shipping and received it late.

"I ordered several books from them for a singing group and payed for 3-5 shipping. After a week of not receiving a shipping notice I emailed them and they told me that there was a 1-2 week preshippment time. A week later I called them as I still hadn’t received a notice and the lady said they were shipping it that day. Ultimately I received it 2 weeks and 6 days later and they didn’t offer to pay me back for the shipping. "
