Poor customer service

"Tried to purchase more parts and return a part that was incorrect.
4 days later i had to purchase else where and eat a $500.00 motor that doesn't fit.
Tried contacting them several ways. The lady who answers their phone is nice.

In the end...

"This may be long winded, but stick with me. We ordered a couple in-stock items. Our card was immediately charged. 2 weeks later...order still processing - time for a call. And an email. Neither of which were returned. So it turned into a mission, call every day with no expectation. The voice mail puts you on hold, then disconnects. Grrr... A few days later we got a human who answered the phone. He said his name was Allen (Alan?). He said he would help and asked if I'd hang on hold for about 5 minutes. OF COURSE!! An hour later I was over it and hung up. After a lot of internet digging, I found a number that wasn't an 800 number and decided to send a text. Roughly an hour after that, Allen called back. The song and dance he gave us about the order still processing after 2 weeks was full of bs. We decided to cancel the order. He called back later and informed us he would "guarantee" shipment that day. In exchange for his phone number, he offered his email - Lance@sharptek. WHAT??!! This whole thing was sketchy. And his guarantee was dubious - keep in mind, he's in MD and the warehouse is in NY. Oh, insert up there somewhere that we disputed the charge with the cc company too. In the end, Allen Lance screwed up his end. Seriously. He is not helping this company in any way that I can tell. On the other hand, Matt made sure our order came through even though there was no communication with him other than a little text. Thank you Matt!"

DON'T waste your time, its like no one is at work.

"Ordered a meat grinder and dough hook for my Hobart mixer, money was taken out in minutes after ordering, and a order number was issued and that was it, waited two weeks and nothing, called but no one answered the phone, left a messages no call back , emailed and nothing. its like it just swallowed my money and no one was at work, or its a scam. Don't waste your time ordering from here. "

Look elsewhere

"I ordered four of a specific toolbox and five different cable ties, all of which were marked as in stock. $160 order. Although the main purpose of the order was the four toolboxes, I spent quite a bit of time (at least an hour) picking the five different cable ties from a wide selection which were supposedly available. A day later Sharptek Supply canceled the order saying "Site was wrong, incorrect. All items such as these arent in stock sorry. Cancelled". The spelling, punctuation, lack of greeting, and lack of closing are verbatim from their e-mail. Aside from the fact that their communication skills and interpersonal skills need improvement, it seems incredible that none of the six different items were in stock. Note that they did not offer me the choice of waiting for the back ordered items. They unilaterally just cancelled the order. At a minimum, the web site has no credibility and is a waste of shoppers’ time. Look elsewhere. I immediately ordered six of the needed toolbox from MSCDirect.com; they arrived a week later with no hassles at a very competitive cost. "
