"ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Having received a faulty microwave that had ill fitted parts, casing out of alignment, loose door etc, steam pouring out of door I was fed a load of rubbish on the phone by returns staff, made up the words as they went along, clearly trying to make me feel stupid and keep the microwave thinking I was wrong.
Insisted I sent evidence of the problems or I would pay for the return postage. I did this with plenty of pictures.
They still insisted that it was not a problem with cooker but simply aesthetic appearance I didnt like ( ill fitting parts etc.. yes damn right I didnt like the look of it! ).
Felt like I was treated badly and the customer most definitely isnt right with Sharp. They agreed return and refund after my 'evidence' was sent. Will NEVER use Sharp directly again. Stick with Amazon, never had an issue with a return or problem with them yet! Buy from Sharp and be prepared for a fight to get your money back.

"I had a different experience with Sharp electronics. I ordered a 65 inch LCD on a "friends and family" offer directly from Sharp.

After about 6 months I began to notice significant banding. I contacted Sharp and they were very responsive in dealing with the issue. They asked for pictures which I sent in, then arranged for a drop off of a replacement.

I was originally concerned when they said that it would be a refurbished unit, but they decided to replace it with a factory new model when one became available suddently (there was a shortage on the sets at the time).

It took only about a week and a half to have the new set in place and the old one shipped back-all at their cost.

The new set is immaculate as was the Sharp customer service. I also never had to spend more than 5 minutes on the phone at any time.
