"Had to cancel my order due to non delivery. Company only contacts client by email. Scheduled delivery missed and rescheduled 3 times. Each time an email was sent the day AFTER the missed delivery. The third time they didn't even bother contacting me. They don't even know when they can deliver their products"

"Please don't buy anything from buying at Seybu or through iboyds.net. My order was put on hold for no reason and they didn't reply to my email inquiries. I sent two emails for past 5 days asking about my order, but they never replied to me. Finally I had to call them waiting for a long time to talk to a customer service.
They took my money out of my credit card account in one day after placing an order, but they haven't sent any emailed information whether they took my money or not.
If they do not reply to customer's inquiry and do not send any notice for their taking customer's money, why do they use email for internet shopping???
Anyhow, during the call, a customer service women told me that the product that I ordered was discontinued and the order had to be cancelled. This means they just put the products, that they can't sell, with fake sales price to hook up customers from internet. WTF is this idea!??
Seybu / Boyd should be removed from all Internet shopping mall, including Google shopping.

"Can't believe companies like this are still out there. Ordered three Gerber knives and recieved an email 5 days later stating their system mispriced them and that my order had been cancelled. Still waiting on the refund and have opened a dispute through PayPal. This company apparently engages regularly in deceptive practices. I should have researched them first. Learn from my mistake and avoid these people!"

"All the reviews of Seybu are terrible. I thought I would give them a chance. I made a terrible mistake. Do not make the same mistake I did. I also bought an item, and the company also tried to hike up the price by three times the amount, saying that I would not receive my item until I had payed. They would try and hide behind nicely worded emails, but their practices speak for themselves. They are extremely uncooperative, and did not respond to my numerous calls and emails. They finally cancelled my order without my consent, and have not refunded my money at all. Really, the only way I would be satisfied is if they were to send me my item, since it is something that I really want. Nothing else could make up for the horrible experience that I had to go through. If for some reason they decide to try and save face, then I may reconsider, but for now I am left dumbfounded at how bad a company can be. Buyers Beware!"

"Not good. I placed an order and several days later they sent me an email that the item was not available at the price I purchased it, but I could still buy it at over three times the price. Sounded like a bait and switch, but they did refund my money when I declined. I would not purchase again"

"Ordered Ilford Premount product on 9/9/2010. Webpage said "in stock". Expected it to arrive by 9/14 given Seybu's info. Got billed for it right away, I can tell you. Nothing received as of 9/15. Emailed Seybu for ship info. Reply on 9/16. Not in stock, must ship from overseas with arrival date of 10/8. Way past my need for this product.

If I hadn't contacted this retailer, I would be sitting for weeks wondering where my order was. Their note was apologetic, but no cigar. They gave me a link to the page I ordered from so I could see some asterisked note at the bottom about Ilford availability. "...don't always know if product is in stock".

But right there in middle of this webpage in bright red letters was "In Stock". Deceptive advertising at its worst.

I have emailed the store back with screen snap of that page, and requested the order be cancelled. We'll see what happens, but right now, I'd steer far, far away from this bunch.

UPDATE 09/20/2010: Seybu responded to my cancellation request pretty quickly. Put thru credit to the card I charged this on. Will give them credit for making it happen fast. Paypal already confirmed. While still unhappy about the overall experience, at least Seybu stood up and took care of it promptly.
