"Serendipity Prom is Amazing! I have ordered dresses from this store for years! All these people writing these reviews bashing them obviously are ignorant! Every receipt I have gotten from that store says ALL SALES FINAL. What is so hard about that to understand? It is even on the website. So, before you go trashing this store maybe you should read the stuff posted at the register. If you are as ignorant as you sound then I am sure they would be happy to read it for you. "I just want to share my shopping story from Serendipity. I was visiting my aunt in Edmond and she had been telling me about this store some of her coworkers told her about and because we have no prom stores near where I live we decided to go. I just shopped the store last week (Nov 1) and it was amazing. We were greeted by the sweetest girls and I told them what I was searching for and the let us look around and pick gowns and also suggested some of the new Sherri Hill gowns they had got that week, I was shocked the 2015 styles were already in store. I tried on about 50 dresses and found my dream gown for next years prom. I think they had about 5000 dresses it was prom heaven. The store had discounts on jewelry and shoes so I got those to match, they had so many to choose from. I had amazing service from the minute I walked in the door and just want to let everyone know this is THE place to go and don't even bother looking anywhere else."
"Ordered a dress early August for my daughter's school formal. The confirmation email came through and we waited for it to arrive. I emailed twice to ask for an estimated shipping date and both emails were ignored. I then saw the order tracking button on their website so got my order number and tracked the dress. I was shocked when it came up order cancelled, no stock on the same day I ordered it. My daughter had her heart set on that dress. You'd think they would have the sense to send an email to say the order was cancelled. We waited 6 weeks for nothing and are now rushed to find a dress that fits on time. Thanks for your bad service Serendipity Prom."
"I ordered a prom dress about a month ago. They keep changing the date I will recieve it, and I found out it is not the size I originally ordered. I was so nervous because they had to special order in the gown from the maker but it all went very smooth. "DO NOT ORDER A DRESS HERE. I ordered a dress over a month in a half in advance for my prom. Prom is 12 days away, and I have not received it. I have called four times. The first two times, I very rude woman told me there was nothing she could do. The third time, I was assured it would be in by Monday. It's Monday, and shocker: it's not here. I called for the FOURTH time, and again, they are telling me there is nothing they can do. I am furious. Prom is 12 days away, and my dress, which will still need to be altered, still has not come in."
"Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a dress with 3 day shipping and di not receive it until a week later. Once it did come, I tried it on and as it sometimes happens, it didn't fit, I called customer service and they told me there are no exchanges and after talking to the woman for a couple of minutes on the phone she proceeded to start yelling at me, telling me I was wrong and then hung up. I have never encountered more terrible service in my life. I do not know how a business can be run like this and I certainly do not suggest ordering anything from this store."
"I have ordered a total of 4 times from Serendipity and have been 100% happy with the products. Most recent order Oct 16th. I have ordered 2 gowns, 2 shoes, and earrings. All items came on time and were exactly what I expected when I ordered. I was emailed tracking numbers on the orders which makes it nice. I will be using this company again in the future. "
"Ordered a dress with 3 day shipping, on a tuesday morning, WILL not recieve dress until 1 week after.(Still waiting) I had called the store prior to my order to make sure it was in stock, and asked if I should order over the phone or online for quickest service, she assured me online was the best way. I called today and let them know I was upset I had to wait over a week when I had paid for 3 day shipping, the manager told me there is nothing she can do and she will not refund me my shipping, and hung up on me. I called back and another associate answered and would not take my # to give to the owner and lied to me and gave me the websites email address as the owners when later I myself through research on the internet found the owners business email. "I took my daughter shopping yesterday and was very happy with this store. My daughter is plus size and we had been to another store in town which I won't name and we left with her in tears. My daughter was told there was nothing in the store in her size which is 18 so we heard Serendipity had that size so we went there. We live far south so we hadn't planned om going all the way up there but glad we did. Not only did the have her size they had bigger so plus size girls keep that in mind, they had probably 50 gowns in Beckys size. The sales girl that helped us was Tory and she was so sweet and helpful I'm even emailing her boss to tell them how great she was. We bought my daughters dress for winter formal and she can't wait to buy her prom dress there. This store is filming a reality show and even asked my daughter to apply I hope she is picked.
