"Ordered $314 of Sephora product for Mom's birthday (Feb 23rd). Mom did get the package--all it had were 3 samples!!! Called customer service--was told they will re-ship order and I will get it the next day. Then got an email later in the evening stating that once order is processed I will receive it in 3-4 days!!! Manager Melissa was of no help and had no explanation for the missing $314 worth of product or why my mom got to open a box with three tiny free samples instead of a birthday gift. Will never order from Sephora online again. Horrible customer service!"

"Just ordered online with Sephora for the first time.
Pricewise, probably consistent with anywhere else, but they do have specials & gift sets that are really good deals. The online buyer should beware though that the sizes of those products can be really tiny.

LIKES: Freebie samples with purchase, speedy delivery, products exactly as ordered & arrived in good condition and apparently there are a number of online exclusive products. If you are like me and want to try new things, it helps to shop online instead of instore at Sephora because you get to read the user reviews & come to your own conclusions (or get more undecided :D!).

DISLIKES: Filter features are not very good, so you have to spend quite a lot of time clicking into each product & going through all the info details. Product details are not consistently shown too (e.g. weight of product is found in random locations depending on product). Also they leave products that have been discontinued or out of stock on the website and do not display this fact BEFORE you click in to the product detail level.

"I LOVE SEPHORA, and I love their shipping policy even more. First off, any purchase over $50 you automatically get free shipping. What I also love is that you get free samples in every purchase. You can pick out three, and the store usually has promocodes you can find from their home page to try some maxi samples. I have found my items are shipped out in a reasonable time (2 days) and reach my door within the week. I can't ask for much more. I am a frequent buyer at the online site. "

"I LOVE SEPHORA! I love all the extras they offer for loyal customers~ex. samples with every order, deluxe size samples for beauty insiders, many codes accepted & available to get even more gifts & deluxe samples, free shipping over $50.00 & most of all, the most updated, newest items beauty items that just hit the market. also, many exclusives offered that can not be found anywhere else. I can search & study their website all day long. they also have beauty advice, lots of question/answers & many reviews to help you make decisions on choices presented to you. bottom line-I would give sephora.com 5 stars all day & night long."

"I have ordered from them several times and have never had a problem. Their shipping is fast (although they tend to send out the notices a few days after they'd shipped the items), everything has always been in stock, and everything arrives in perfect condition. I am in a city with a physical Sephora store now, but I still use their website to send gifts to friends."

"Ordered two items with highest price on the web and paid for 2 day air. One item was cancelled, second one was shipped after 5 days. Instead of real gift, I had to give hug on the birthday :(
