Avoid at all costs

"Seats and stools
Where to begin with reviewing this business.
Purchase: Breuer Cane Cesca Chair, initial cost $810.95
1. Customer service, non existent.
2. Put an order on April 2021, didn’t hear a peep until September when I reached out because pandemic, everything was backed up.
3. I reached out via email in September - no one responded, via telephone - countless unreturned voicemails: the few times Karen picked up which I was calling a few times a day, was dismissive to say the least (she was eating at a few of our conversations, loudly).
4. Turns out I had chosen the wrong color, even though I’m pretty that was a computer mistake but let’s say it was my mistake. Karen wanted nothing to do with it, gave me no options.
5. I returned the back and bottoms of the chairs, over 200$ in shipping costs. In return they were supposed to sent me the “correct” color, charged for that shipment (200$) but no pilot wholes for the screws so I had to go to a local shop to do that which was another 100$.
6. Total cost: about 1300$
7. Did I mention the timing in all this? About 10 months till these chairs were sitting in my living room with all the proper pieces. I will never order through this company again and have no idea how they exist. My experience was frustrating to say the least. Do NOT go through this company if you want a decent transaction.

Horrible Customer Service and Completely Unreliable

"I placed an order and 2 months later did not receive any form of notification that it was shipped or preparing to ship. I tried to reach the company several times and left several messages but did not receive any response. I finally reached a rep and she was incredibly rude - claimed I had asked to cancel the order (I did not - just asked for an update and that it would be fine if they could not fulfill the order, I just wanted some sort of notification). She kept talking over me and would not left me get a word in. I just wanted an email confirmation that my order was refunded but she would not let talk. I ended up hanging up after she said "well there's nothing to talk about". DO NOT order from this company."

"seat cover replacements are half done, doesn't have trim around them like image shows, customer service doesn't acknowledge or offer any assistance or discount due to their false advertisement, EXPENSIVE for what it is..."

"on Feb 1, I placed an order for a replacement seat for a bar stool---the cost $88 was immediately put on my charge card but so far (March 6) I have NOT received the seat (nor any message from this vendor)----are they honest? m"

Horrible Customer Service

"Ordered Chairs and was defective items. Ask customer service for return and sent prove pictures the chairs were defective. They are very aggressive attitude and try to convince me it made a way it is. Keep telling that it was defective. They said return is required that use manufacture required box and return label is on your own. They act like it is very much favor to me that waive a restocking fee on defective item. All communication is like almost yelling and tend to be fight.

I decided no need to communication. Dispute thru bank and got credit back. They contacted me after dispute that return label would be provided and return must be resale condition otherwise no credit at all. (What? I got credit back thru bank already) feel like trying to scare me again to their items back. Be aware that this vendor is worst and do not buy anything from them. You will get stress a month.

Ordered replacement base for Breuer arm chair

"I have four original Breuer dining arm chairs from Knoll, all with weaken frames that will no longer support weight.

We ordered the replacement frame from Seats and Stools. It arrived. No amount of effort would make the back, seat, or arms rests fit the frame. We thought about drilling new holes. Not. We returned it.

The company did not warn us that the frame would not fit the Knoll version of the chair.

The shipping cost was $24; the return cost $48. That's $68 wasted. Had the company warned us the their frame does not fit the knoll chair, I would not have made the purchase.

When I called to complain, the company's attitude was, "It is what it is."
