"I placed an order for two digital cameras and my impression of this company through this process is NOT FAVORABLE. After ordering from their site because the cameras were about $100 cheaper than anywhere else, I get an email stating that they needed to speak to me before processing the order. When I called, the salesperson told me that I did not order the batteries when I ordered the camera and that they would be about $100 for each camera – good Lord, this is like buying a car and then being told after agreeing on the price that the keys are $1000 more! I have never bought a camera from anyone that did not include all the basic items needed to make the camera function. Nevertheless, the price, including the battery, was still within reason of other prices that I had found, so I went ahead and placed the order, which by the way, had no charge for shipping. After the cameras were shipped, I received a final statement showing that the price had increased by another $59.88, with that charge being for shipping insurance! What part of this am I missing? I agreed to a charge of $0.00 for shipping and then they hit me with a $60 shipping insurance fee? I could have had it shipped next-day air with FedEx for less than that!

These practices are very shady indeed. I will NEVER visit this company again due to these dishonest practices.

After posting my comments I received a call from a representative who was proactive in working towards a solution that would make me happy. He offered me three different options, all of which would work towards resolving my issues. I selected the one that worked best for me and after I had made my choice the rep informed me that he would also send a filter for the camera. We had already resolved my concerns and was not completely necessary. Nonetheless, it was a goodwill gesture which I appreciated and has made me rethink my opinion and shopping experience with this company. In short, the way things look right now; my view is that are trying to do the right thing for its customers."

I did some research and found they had both good ratings and bad, which made me hesistate... but their price was just TOO good.
