"Well for all the bad reviews I read, I gotta say I'm fairly impressed, they had the computer I want, that tigerdirect.com had but ran out of or discontinues, which bummed me out, since that was the model and everything I wanted. Found it for even cheaper from Savesonic.com, figured after checking the reviews I'd give it a try and see how it went. They didn't have a shipping number for me, fair enough, it was free shipping anyway for the item, (Tigerdirect charges me tax and shipping since I'm local for them) So I actually wound up paying $50 less for the same exact model of computer. Not to mention it just showed up today which is the 16th of Sept. Booted up great, plays WoW, Starcraft 2, haven't tried anything more intensive than that, but I do have a video card and power supply that I plan on beefing the system with.
All in all, not a bad deal, and I won't hesitate to use them again.
PS: Also I sent an email the day it came in, regarding shipping number, while they didn't give me the shipping number, I did receive a response that same day. 4 stars in my book!"
"I ordered a refurbished dvd entertainment system from SaveSonic. It arrived with a dent in the dvd player. I emailed them and a week later they finally responded. They said I should keep it, even though the company that I purchased the extended warranty from wanted me to send it back. Finally, two weeks later, they arranged for pick up, with a promise of sending a replacement unit after they received the damaged unit. A week after they received the damaged unit, they still hadn't sent a replacement one. I emailed them; they said they would send it in a few days. A few days later, still nothing. I emailed them again; they never responded. I emailed them again, requesting a refund. They said I'd have a refund in 7 days. That was on 8/31/10; I still have no refund. Their phone customer service is crumby. I sent emails because the hold time is about 20 minutes. I wouldn't suggest purchasing from them, unless you want to take the chance of dealing with seriously substandard customer service if you have a problem with your purchase."
