"We recently purchased the Sailrite Deluxe Fabricator sewing machine and several accessories for it. It arrived in a timely manner despite all the current challenges we're all facing.
The sewing machine went together over the course of the day as we took our time putting it together. If we'd been in a hurry we could have done it in 4 or 5 hours, but being retired it's time to relax and do things at a more leisurely pace. This assembly took place on January 22, 2022, after receiving the four boxes, two each day, on the 19th and 20th.
I have to say, this is an amazing machine. Nothing slows it down. I had some 1,000 Denier Cordura Nylon which I folded over once, no problem for the machine whatsoever, although I did back off on the upper thread tension quite a bit as the sample that was on the machine when it arrived a very thick leather assembly sewn with, I think, a V132 thread. I folded the material over making 4 layers, again no problem for the machine. I rolled it again to 6, then 8, then 10, 12 and 14 layers and the machine didn't even notice. I got a piece of 1/16th inch Kydex as a reinforcement and the sewing machine punched right through with a hiccup. It truly is an amazing sewing machine. To say that we are happy with our purchase would be a gross understatement, we love this thing.
We also bought several of the presser feet available for it, most of which we have not yet had the opportunity to try out, but I have no doubt everything will perform well above our usual expectations.
If I had it to do over again I would not hesitate to buy this machine and it's accessories all over again. Thank you Sailrite for a great sewing machine. "
